Looking for a great space to display your artwork? Applications for the 2028 Gallery Schedule at Edmond Fine Arts are now open!

11 shows will be selected for 2028, each show lasts one month with the exception of the December show, which will remain up through January 2029. Artists may choose to apply for a solo show or as a duo or group show. Additionally, curators can submit applications for a curated show. Applications must be completed online by Monday, December 21st at 5:00pm.

EFA is looking for individual artists, artist groups, and curators to submit show proposals that include innovative, contemporary art and display skill and technique mastery.

Selections are based on an evaluation of work samples submitted and ideas proposed; we look for a strong, consistent aesthetic vision. We strongly encourage selected artists to create new work for their exhibition. The work in the application should demonstrate that you are capable in vision and scope of creating an exhibition.

Call and Response: Works by Holly Wilson, featuring Zoe Hundley and Wilson Hundley

Oct 5-30
Reception Oct 22, 4-6, with gallery talk by the artist starting at 5pm.

Now on view in the Lightwell Gallery, located on the second floor of the School of Visual Arts building. Free to the public and open to all!

About the exhibit:

Call and Response: Works by Holly Wilson uses personal narrative to explore themes of family and identity through figurative sculptures, photography, and multi-media installation. Wilson states, “Narrative is central to my work. I am interested in stories—the stories of my parents, my ancestors, my family, my community. I am a storyteller; through my work, I weave together the threads of these various narratives to create a tapestry that tells stories that are sacred and precious, personal and universal, powerful and at times volatile.”

Call and Response positions Wilson’s pieces alongside work produced by her adult children, Zoe Hundley and Wilson Hundley, presenting the continuing lineage of storytelling within the same space. The Lightwell Gallery exhibition runs from October 5-30, with a reception on October 22 from 4-6. Holly Wilson will give a talk in the gallery space around 5pm, during the reception. The exhibit is free and open to all.

Location: Fred Jones Art Center Lightwell Gallery, 2nd Floor 520 Parrington Oval, Norman, OK
