It's true.
We will go back to our usual Thursday hours now, with a later 5pm start, 9pm close

It will continue to be full of fun 'Sueños Menu' specials.

Since it is still Oyster Week, this Thursday we will offer $1 oysters across our entire oyster list. 5-9 or while supplies last.

This week is also the "T'ird T'ursday " which means the monthly Greenport Irish Trad Session returns. Music starts about 7pm

Celebrating Oyster Week no matter the weather!

Looks like weather will push the oyster festival outside the Village again.

We are celebrating anyway!!

Sunday we will have $1 oysters from 12-4pm (or while supplies last!)

And.... The return of the Queen: the French Onion Grilled Cheese returns now that we have that bathing-suit bullshirt over.

Chowder will be on, grilled oysters and more!!!

We've been thinking about what it means to be a maritime business. We don't build boats and sure we like a street fair and party like anyone, and are looking forward to the Maritime Festival on its October rain dates. But we are surely tied to the wind and waves.

Starting this past Monday morning, looking at the developing pressure systems and questionable timing, it was all about calling our oyster farmer partners, our fishing partners.

"When is your go/no go for harvest this week?"
"How long will the fishing be blown out for? Starting when?"

We make plans and backup plans. Because that's what weather and water have taught us.

Sailors would say that by the time you are wondering whether it was time to shorten sails, it's too damn late.

Huge respect to the @greenportmaritimefestival organizers for making a tough call early. That's a smart Cap'n. Anyone with an ounce of maritime bones would know, it was the only call.

The coolers are full here, we'll enjoy what we have until it runs out. And we always have hot dogs😂.

Thanks everyone for a great summer! We hope you keep finding sand in your shoes for the weeks and months ahead. The oysters are just getting started!

We are here for Local Summer and beyond and are holding our hours steady for now. Wednesday happy hour, of course, and Thursday-Saturday from 12-9, Sundays 12-8.

There are a couple of dates in September to make a note of:

Sunday 9/13: We will be closed for a little staff R&R. Reopening on Wednesday for Happy Hour!

Next week:
Saturday 9/19: Closed for a private party

After that:
Friday,Saturday and Sunday 9/25-27: Maritime Festival!!!
