Cold and wet day in the saddle at Pyhä Fellscape!
Proper Lapland autumn weather this time. 90 km of Mud, rain and +6, and 6th was the position I finished.

Afterwards thought of leaving bike in a ditch and walking away but now ready to sign up for next year 🤦
but with wider tyres.

The cold caught up with me after the river crossing, hello forgotten jacket.

Shout out to the always friendly and organised @fellscape.fi team and volunteers. See you next year!

Tervahiihto 56 km skate.

Big field, soft snow, hard work, great experience.

Luckily @tommaloneywestgard didn’t turn up so the top Irish finisher crown was mine 😂

Thanks to all the #tervahiihto organisers and volunteers for putting on such a super event @tervahiihto_ski_marathon

@fellscape.fi is such an awesome gravel race and event with super people, route and vibes. And it’s right here in Lapland! Add it to your calendar! Definitely coming back next year.

Here, with @erkkiheikkala and @aappos working hard together to catch the small front group.
