Winter golf hack! There’s no doubt that @spurkgolf have the finest mats in market but MAN the bags for them are expensive. You need to access your mat fast and conveniently on course when you’re using it, so let’s hack it.

Any other hacks you do to your gear in winter?!

Brilliant to sponsor Meltham Scouts first ever beer festival. Great event, well done everyone! by @northofpargc

Our guest had dinner with world-leading golf brands at the PGA Show in a baseball cap, shorts and a baggy T-shirt.

And everyone else at the table was dressed the same. Then he takes his wife and kid to a £1,500 a year club, ready to spend about £60 (three meals, two drinks each, bit of ice cream for the wee one)... and he can't, because he can't wear his hat.

Colin called the dress code debate age old, and our guest reckons it's exactly the sort of thing that tells young golfers they don't belong.

Is your club still fighting the great hat war, or has it quietly surrendered? 😆

Our guest is Mark Asquith (@mrasquith), and his show, the North of Par Podcast, is well worth a listen too!

Aight winter is here (calm down Sean Bean). What’re you working on in your game? We’ll go first in the comments… #👇👇👇👇

New members at Mark Asquith's club didn't know a soul, so they never got a game. His fix was lovely and simple.

He's the rabbits vice captain, and he picks the teams for their home and away friendlies against other clubs. The clever bit? In the four ball you play WITH the other club, not against them. So he'd pop a new face in, paired with someone he knew was kind and would help them out. And the community grew... in his words, fast, fast, fast 😁

Did your club do anything like this when you joined? Or were you left loitering by the first tee hoping someone would adopt you? 😆

Check out Mark's podcast: North of Par.
