Last weekend, McIntosh screened at the Garden State Film Festival and we are so incredibly honored to learn that it won the award for “Home Grown Animated Short!”

So proud of this wonderful team. 🍎

When I first started writing plays, I would wander through the Drama Book Shop, perusing the shelves, seeing the names of so many writers I looked up to.

It was a bit surreal tonight seeing my play, “Hugo Saves Christmas…in May!” on those same shelves.

Thank you, Jonathan, for taking a chance on this play and being such an advocate for it.

If you are in the city, stop by the Drama Book Shop and get a signed copy! 😁 taken in Drama Book Shop by @notscubasteve

A few photos from Sara’s birthday Pickle Crawl through NYC. From fried pickles to a pickle bookstore to pickle martinis, there was never a “dill” moment. 🥒 by @notscubasteve

Took a ride to the Hudson Valley to the Philipstown Depot Theatre to see a developmental reading of a beautiful new musical “Christopher Robin is Dead” written by the amazing Britt Bonney. I can’t wait to see where this show goes!! taken in The Philipstown Depot Theatre by @notscubasteve

Teachers, are you looking for a large cast one act comedy for your students this year?

If so, “The Tuesday Night Treasure Hunters and the Case of the Kraken’s Eye” and “Twelve Hangry Jurors” are currently available for licensing through @theatrefolk and @pioneerdrama !

(And if it’s for competition, both are on EdTA’s Approved Materials!!) by @notscubasteve

Today, “Keep the Music Going” closed at Chatham Players’ Jersey Voices Festival.

As many know, “Keep the Music Going” is a very special play for me. It was first performed live on Zoom during the height of the pandemic. I thought its journey would end when quarantine did, but I am so grateful it has found a new life on stage.

From New York to Columbus to Chicago to Atlanta, and now home in New Jersey, I’ve been blown away by the many different ways this play has been brought to life in three dimensions.

Thank you to all the Jessicas and Lorys who have brought your talent, artistry, and heart to this piece.

So excited to see that last year’s Jersey Voices One Act Festival was nominated for a Perry Award for Outstanding Production of an Original Play.

Congratulations to my delightfully weird Sidequest team and to all of the other JV artists!! taken in Chatham Community Players by @notscubasteve

Next week, “Keep the Music Going” opens at Chatham Players’ Jersey Voices festival!

I’m so grateful to Kayla, Nicole, & Sydney. It’s been an absolute joy watching you bring this play to life. I couldn’t have asked for a better team and can’t wait for audiences to see your talents shine on stage.
