celebrated my 33rd birthday in the company of living saints ✨🎂✨

for my jesus year, i wanted to honor all the beautiful things we represent, advocate, stand for, however deep, however silly. we declared our own sainthoods, wore halos, prepped an altar, & bonded over the hymns & prayers that still live in us. & although i’m not religious, i know divinity because of true friendship.

thank you to all the friends & loved ones who made this celebration so bright. i now know the patron saints for weeb agency, protection against wet socks, first meetings, puns, escapism, & more. ❤️

gratitude isn’t a tired feeling—i feel it more & more as i get older especially. cheers to another sunlap! ☀️

So excited to see that last year’s Jersey Voices One Act Festival was nominated for a Perry Award for Outstanding Production of an Original Play.

Congratulations to my delightfully weird Sidequest team and to all of the other JV artists!!

One of our favorite parts of Jersey Voices is getting to have our playwrights in the audience and at the talkback. Last night we got to hear from them about why they wrote these plays and the journey of getting them stage ready. Join us tonight or next weekend to see these shows and ask anything you’ve ever wanted to know about playwriting.
