No adventure shoot is complete without @gopro . We brought Four HERO13 Black cameras, a DJI Mavic 3, and a custom-built 5-inch FPV drone made specifically for this project. Because what would a shoot about flying be without drones and GoPros. Each piece of equipment had a role to play, from capturing different perspectives to tackling the aerial sequences that made this production particularly challenging. Thanks to the team behind it. @beirutwingsfto @thejoebi by @notsocivilised

There are 8.3 billion people living on Earth. Professional and elite athletes represent only a fraction of them. This is the fraction we chose to show. @oilandgaz_______________ @angelinaneaymi The following Campaign features real athletes and real actions. All events filmed are real and nothing is staged or exaggerated. Only real sweat and pain. No Ai or SFX. By @notsocivilised by @notsocivilised

When we were first asked to work on something for Beirut Wings, it felt like someone had handed us a blank sheet of paper and said: draw anything. The sheet felt like the sky. Wide, open, limitless. And strangely enough, when something feels limitless, it becomes difficult to know where to begin. So we started with the simplest question: why do we want to fly? Flying is one of those dreams that finds us before we even understand what a dream is. As children, we look up and wonder: why can’t I fly too? Then we grow up and discover that maybe we all have wings. We just need to learn how to use them. That became the heart of our campaign: the journey from imagining flight to learning how to fly. We thought about the first person who dared to say, I will invent something that lets us fly. The first flight lasted 15 seconds. The next, 15 seconds too. Slowly, the impossible became ordinary. Today, planes fill our skies. We became fascinated by what happens once you are up there: hours surrounded by nothing but sky, with time to think, reflect and see the world differently. It led us to Antoine de Saint-Exupéry, a pilot and writer whose hours in the sky became The Little Prince. Alongside SOS d’un terrien en détresse, birds, children and blue skies, these became the language of our film. We wanted to follow a pilot from the child who dreamed of flying to the man who learned how. To play with the distance between imagination and reality. And we thank Beirut Wings for trusting us with that idea. For understanding that before the lessons, certificates and everything that makes a pilot, there has to be a dream. Because even when a dream becomes a career, we never leave it behind. That is why the old pilot keeps meeting the child he once was. The same eyes. The same dream. Before there was the pilot, there was the child who looked up. Before there was the flight, there was the dream. “Dedicated to those who have big dreams of flying”. by @notsocivilised
