In 2022, Angelina Neaymi entered her first IMMAF World Championships after only three months of training and with no previous MMA experience and left the stage with a bronze medal.

Six international IMMAF medals, three World Championship medals, & three Asian Championship medals later, Angelina is heading to Georgia to compete for the World Championship title in November 2026.

Every second it takes to be a champion, we are here through it all.

From filming across Tripoli’s old souks at the break of dawn to roaming around its historic quarters and hidden corners till sunset, every moment of this day was one to treasure.

When Lara first spoke to us about Aala Daou El Baher, she spoke about the sea. About how, after being diagnosed with cancer, she kept finding her way back to it. During one of the most vulnerable chapters of her life, it became a place of silence, surrender, and somehow, of strength. A place where fear could soften and hope could quietly return.

From those moments, this collection was born.

A story of rebirth, transformation, and the invisible threads that continue to bind us to the people we love. Some lights never truly leave us, they simply become part of the wind, the waves, and the memories we carry forward. And, quietly woven through it all, was the light of Aimee Daou, whose spirit continues to move with the sea.

Bringing this story to life at Bolero Bloom, by the sea itself, felt less like hosting a fashion performance and more like witnessing something deeply human unfold before us.

This work could never have existed without the extraordinary artists who poured themselves into it.

For me, a project is a story.

A never-ending story.

It stays with me
forever.

A designer proves their value when there’s a problem and they know how to fix it.

Anyone can create something beautiful.

But when you give a designer
a room full of challenges
and ask them to design it,

and they succeed,

that’s when you know
they’re a good designer.

Nothing is ugly in this world.

Everything is beautiful
when its put in the right place.

I love it when my clients
have their own taste,
their own identity,
their own soul in their home.

There are five elements
that are essential
in every home I design:

Greenery,
Natural material,
Sunlight,
Fabric,

And of course,

Art.

The element that connects everything together
is light.

We live on this earth
because of sunlight.

When you enter a home,
you should always see plants.

They are the only living element
I can bring into your space.

I have a love affair with fabric.
I truly love fabric.

Color is life.

As part of this year’s Bolero Bloom, we welcome LARAKHOURY as one of our main acts, unveiling a fashion performance that moves beyond the expected.

Aala Daou El Baher is shaped by water, memory, and rebirth.
Rooted in a deeply personal journey through cancer, the sea became her source of strength and awakening. Out of its vastness, an unexpected connection emerged with Bolero’s own darling daughter and sister, the late Aime Daou’s luminous soul, one that came to shape the entire work.

A celebration of life.
A celebration of her Light ✨
Carried through movement.

Through deconstructed silhouettes and elongated wave-like forms, the body becomes a landscape in motion, a dialogue between what confines us and what sets us Free.
