This time last week this hand-scribbled sign drew more new customers to my stand @londoncoffeefestival than anything I’d previously tried.

Most of them agreed, that our 3-Star Great Taste Award-winning light roast decaf blend @nottcoffee.danelaw Nott Fjødr WAS the best decaf in the country. After all no UK decaf was higher rated by the @guildoffinefood last year.

Eclipse is a moment to wonder at the power and drama of the Universe.

Suddenly, darkness envelops you. Soon it will pass, but for now it is you, the Moon and the Earth locked in a coincidental projection where everything goes dark for a few moments before the light creeps back in again. You feel powerless against the motion of the Universe and tiny in the spectacle of the sky above.

Enjoy the moment - they pass too quickly. Prepare carefully and let the intensity overwhelm you.

Dark Chocolate, Black Treacle, Walnut. Maybe allow yourself a penumbra of milk, just to make it that little bit easier. Perhaps a bite of Parkin, or a bourbon biscuit to help you appreciate the bittersweet intensity of your coffee.

Then just as soon as it went dark, the light creeps back in again, the room opens up and your moment to yourself has passed.

This coffee is a unique blend of washed and natural process sugarcane decafs, dark roasted to promote intensity, aroma and body.

Extremely proud to have our @nottcoffee.decaf packaging showcased this week @worldofcoffeeeurope as part of the @specialtycoffeeassociation Design in Coffee Awards.

Designed around an “out of this world” night sky theme, the work was completed by @tomandfriendsuk using a strong purple identity colour with shimmering metallic individual identifier labels.

A customer’s 3 year-old child pointed at the pack and correctly identified it as “night time coffee,” proving the simplicity and effectiveness of the concept. taken in Brussels Expo by @nottcoffee.decaf

London Coffee Festival has always been about discovering what is next in coffee.

For us that has always included decaf.

In previous years, Nott Coffee became one of the unexpected highlights of the festival - serving speciality decaf to people who did not expect to love it.

Our packaging designer @tomandfriendsuk pulled off a masterpiece with this simple purple bag counterpointed with shimmering metallic labels to evoke the night sky theme of the coffees. taken in Brussels, Belgium by @nottcoffee.decaf
