Decaf coffee could never 🤣

Wait... That is Decaf?!?

Correct. Decaf from @nottcoffee.decaf. This isn't an AD btw, I bought this at @nottscoffeefestival this weekend. First tried it at MCF last year and it's lived rent free in my head ever since.

I just feel like I really need to shine a light on this, excuse the pun. Aurora is quite simply amazing. It's specialty decaf. Because sometimes I come home from work, have a headache and I still want good coffee. Also, David is a top bloke who clearly is very passionate about good coffee.

Lets not be childish, it doesn't have to be caffeinated to be good 💜 🩵

Photos by Colour!

For a very neutral person myself (for me, lots of warm greens and browns hit the spot) I can't believe how much colour there is in my portfolio 🧁

Have a little look through, I'd love to know which colour you like best 🎨

Eclipse is a moment to wonder at the power and drama of the Universe.

Suddenly, darkness envelops you. Soon it will pass, but for now it is you, the Moon and the Earth locked in a coincidental projection where everything goes dark for a few moments before the light creeps back in again. You feel powerless against the motion of the Universe and tiny in the spectacle of the sky above.

Enjoy the moment - they pass too quickly. Prepare carefully and let the intensity overwhelm you.

Dark Chocolate, Black Treacle, Walnut. Maybe allow yourself a penumbra of milk, just to make it that little bit easier. Perhaps a bite of Parkin, or a bourbon biscuit to help you appreciate the bittersweet intensity of your coffee.

Then just as soon as it went dark, the light creeps back in again, the room opens up and your moment to yourself has passed.

This coffee is a unique blend of washed and natural process sugarcane decafs, dark roasted to promote intensity, aroma and body.

Extremely proud to have our @nottcoffee.decaf packaging showcased this week @worldofcoffeeeurope as part of the @specialtycoffeeassociation Design in Coffee Awards.

Designed around an “out of this world” night sky theme, the work was completed by @tomandfriendsuk using a strong purple identity colour with shimmering metallic individual identifier labels.

A customer’s 3 year-old child pointed at the pack and correctly identified it as “night time coffee,” proving the simplicity and effectiveness of the concept.

Caffeine control is becoming ever more important so we have an option for all times of day.

First thing: Dagr, our classic house filter

Afternoon: Hálfr - a 50:50 blend of caf and decaf so you don’t get quite so much of a caffeine fix

Evening: Nott Coffee, our award-winning range of decaf coffees where you can drink decaf for the flavour not just because you have to.

These were some amazing beans we picked up from @manchestercoffeefestival from @nottcoffee.decaf 🫘

This was our first time buying and trying decaf beans at home, and we were not disappointed! They didn’t taste like they were decaf at all and they were full of flavour. We picked the Aurora which has tasting notes of mandarin, black grape and caramel. We enjoyed these most in our V60 but they were also good in lattes☕️ Shoutout to the staff at the stall as they were so lovely and helpful⭐️

Welcoming back Rwanda Rwamatamu - a Danelaw Coffee Classic.

A Great Taste Award-Winner last year, think orange, peach, red berries, lemon - it’s bright, fruity and delicious!

And don’t forget we still have Colombia El Indio natural which was such a big hit in the @dogandhatlove subscription last month.

And if caffeine isn’t your thing this month, check out our @nottcoffee.decaf range for all the flavour but none of the buzz.

Maybe you want to cut down on caffeine in the new year but not give it up completely - Hálfr is the one for you.

Perhaps you need all the caffeine you can get - choose from one of our award-winning espressos or single origins to get you through the dark mornings ahead.

Or if you’re going all in and cutting out caffeine altogether, look for our @nottcoffee.decaf range for all the flavour without the buzz.

Whatever you choose - Happy New Year from us!
