Toronto, you were something else 🇨🇦❤️

I flew to the other side of the world to launch my Kickstarter campaign, with my prototypes in my suitcase, a lot of hope and, let’s be honest, quite a bit of stress 😅

I’m coming home with incredible encounters, words that truly touched me, and 89% of the Kickstarter goal reached in just a few days.

After two and a half years of designing, iterating, prototyping, starting over… it feels so good to finally present these watches in person.

@buci.paris.watches watches are made to be discovered through their details. So thank you for taking the time to look at them, try them on, ask questions and listen to their story. And thank you to everyone who decided to join the adventure. ❤️

I think that’s what I love most about this journey: the people I meet and the conversations we have. People I probably would never have crossed paths with otherwise, and some words I’ll keep with me for a long time.

And then there are those messages from friends that arrive exactly when you need them.
Surround yourself with good people. Really. ❤️

As for the Canadian snacks… the ketchup chips are officially approved, and the coffee crisp are dangerously addictive. My coach is not going to be happy 😂

Coming home grateful, happy, and already thinking about what’s next.

Thank you, Toronto. First time, definitely not the last. 🇨🇦❤️

📖 Quand l’horlogerie rencontre la littérature

Ce vendredi 25 septembre, @Buci.paris.watches lance sa collection Nouvelle sur Kickstarter ✍️

Une maison française qui fait de la petite seconde le symbole des instants ordinaires, ceux qui font le récit de nos journées 🤍

⚙️ Mouvement suisse à remontage manuel, boîtier 36 mm
🖋️ Cadran papier buvard, chiffres calligraphiés à la main
📕 Écrin en forme de livre avec son carnet
🔢 Édition limitée à 300 pièces, dès 1 550 €

Re-upload in much better quality. Save the date! Chapter 2 for BUCI Paris starts on 25 September on Kickstarter with the Nouvelle. Two textured dial colours will be available — off-white and blue.

The 36mm oval-shaped case is mostly polished, with a brushed bezel, and features small seconds at 9 o’clock.

The watch is full of details. The concave bezel and lugs are particularly nicely shaped, and the hour and minute hands were designed so that when they meet on the dial, they create, for a brief moment, one beautifully shaped unison hand.

Inside is a manual-winding Sellita Sw219-1 movement.

A very cool watch that left a really good impression on me. You should definitely check it out when the campaign starts. taken in Geneva, Switzerland by @nousseima.b

Geneva, you were special. 🩵

My first @geneva_watch_days , and the first time showing NOUVELLE.

After years of working behind the scenes, it felt very special to finally share my work and this new chapter of @buci.paris.watches .

A week of running around, talking (a lot), laughing, sharing, meeting incredible people and seeing all these years of work finally come to life.

Receiving such a warm response to the collection truly meant a lot to me. With NOUVELLE, I wanted to create a collection with a stronger identity, even more attention to detail, while staying true to my vision of making our time more poetic, exploring a new dialogue between writing & watchmaking.

Thank you to everyone who took the time to come by, discover the collection, talk watches, stories and everything in between.

Very grateful for all the beautiful people I get to meet along the way 🩵

Next stop: Kickstarter.
