The slightly infamous “The Lotus” This work gained almost 6 million views across platforms 🫥 I really wasn’t expecting that. When I made this piece I was juggling my semester classes and a 20ft mural project. I was asked to be part of an exhibit and I decided to make a work that had symbolic meaning, at-least to me , and about what the show was about. The show was honoring a member of a community who the community believed was wrongfully incarcerated and were making efforts to exonerate his name. The show covered themes of mass incarceration and hidden truths. Below is a little more info on the work. . The Lotus Year: 2025 Medium: Mirror, wood, grout, metal leaf, canvas Size: 25 x 47 in The rupture in the canvas exposes an inner world and a blooming lotus. The breaking of the canvas was performed live on opening night, marking a moment of revelation and bringing visibility to what was hidden. What appears complete is not expected to hold something beneath its surface. The canvas and what lies below are nailed together as one, symbolizing their symbiotic relationship. They depend on each other for the meaning of their existence. . . #art #contemporaryart #museum #community #communityartsBaltimore by @novaglore

Today is my first official move-day in Seattle ✨ excited to explore the city, get to know the community, and enjoy all that it has to offer 🛸 . . This work is titled “Line” . It’s from the Lines Everywhere series. Year: 2025 Medium: Mirror, grout, and metal leaf (silver, copper, and 24k gold) with hand-built wooden frame Size: 56 ¾ x 20 ½ x 3 ½ in Line was inspired by a twig and its fractal pattern of splits. I translated this branching logic into the mirror’s break, aligning each fracture to a Fibonacci-like rhythm. The grout between the mirrored shards is informed by the golden ratio and self-similarity in nature. This piece investigates the interconnection between organic growth and mathematical form, bridging geometry, symmetry, and natural elegance. . . #contemporaryart #seattle #seattleart #mirrorart taken in Seattle, Washington by @novaglore

Title : The man in me Year: 2026 Medium: Wood, Resin, Copper leaf Size: 46.75 x 34.5 in . . Unlike The Philosophy of Structure, where I carved the figure by hand using a router, this work utilizes a CNC machine to carve the male figure. Embedded within the figure are remnants of the lanterns I fabricated as part of the larger series. Behind him, a continuous line forms the Seattle skyline. This work was created as a counterpart to the female figure, with the two pieces designed to both complement and oppose one another. The male figure exists against a white background, while the female figure is set against white, representing balance and the yin-yang nature of the sexes. The figures face toward one another, creating a visual relationship between the two works. The male figure is also reflected within the female figure, whose form is composed of individually arranged mirror pieces, further connecting the two while allowing each to remain distinct. . . #contemporaryartwork #themaninme #art #wood #resin by @novaglore

The further away you look at it, the clearer you’ll see the image. The Changing Portrait is created from over 1300 individual PLA cubes. The cubes are made up of 6 different representational materials consistent with the series. Each cube is engraved with 1 of 6 alchemical symbols. The cubes can be rearranged to whatever pixelated image. For the exhibition the changing portrait was arranged into a fractal tree. Each cube contains a magnet in the back that hangs to the metal sheet on the back of the frame. For this project my first step included designing the cubes using 3D modeling software, furthermore printing them, laser engraving the materials, building the frame, and assembling the image. Size: 45 x35 in (This is the heaviest piece in the Lines Everywhere series) . . #contemporaryart #art #novaglore #sculpture #pixelart by @novaglore

Made in the summer of last year for the Lines Everywhere Series : The Philosophy of Structure Medium: Birch plywood panel, pine frame, mirror, grout, gold, silver, and copper leaf Size: 25 1/4 × 3/4 x 37 3/16 in Assembled broken mirror pieces form the silhouette of a woman. The pose is inspired by fashion shows in New York City. As part of my Lines Everywhere series, I incorporated a single-line drawing of the city skyline behind the figure, symbolizing the power of a single line. The line, border, and edge of the composition are all finished with metal leaf, and the figure itself is carved from wood. The following two artworks were done for the same show. Inspired by modeling poses of shows I participated in the past. The technique to make them was a paint pouring within a frame to symbolize the universe within the individual. . . #contemporary #contemporaryartist #sculptureart #mirror by @novaglore

Lines Everywhere series ~ Title: Gradiction Medium: Mirror, steel round bar, grout, and found objects with wooden frame Size: 33 ¼ x 40 in “Gradiction” is the connection that binds these objects. The word merges gratifying and addiction. Gradiction represents the pleasure and dependency that coexist within addictive experiences. This piece explores how addiction holds a tight grip, both comforting and consuming. Letting go of that connection can leave one standing in a valley of shards. The broken mirror pieces are the shards. In it the viewer can self-reflect, confront and surpass this connection. . . #art #finearts #gallery #novaglore #contemporanyart by @novaglore

The piece that made me fall in love with metal! . . Year: 2025 Medium: Steel tube and steel round bar with copper patina and 24k gold leaf H: 35 in W: 30 1/2 in Depth: 17 1/4 in Trend explores trajectory through three steel lines emerging from a square base. The lines emerge from thinking outside the box. The metallic patina shifts from bronze to silver to gold leaf, visualizing progression. If you follow an idea far enough eventually you’ll reach gold. The composition reflects on cause and effect, curiosity, and the interplay between rigid geometry and irregular form. . . #sculpture #art #metal #contemporary #pedestal by @novaglore

One of my favorites from the the Lines Everywhere series is Sequence to Gold Medium: Metal, 24k gold leaf W: 32 in, H: 23 in, D: 7.5 In This work was inspired by the Fibonacci Sequence’s Golden Spiral. The spiral is a natural phenomenon and pattern seen throughout nature, from seashells and plants to vegetables. My initial intention for this piece was to build a reliquary for sand however it transformed to a sacred home for a hermit crab that had passed years ago who didn’t quite make it to find a shell big enough to hold its growth. This piece includes the optional installation of laying a broken mirror underneath the work to allow the viewer to see underneath the shell and the spiral structure that holds it. The mirror acts as a portal to a new perspective to discover the complexity and repetition that lies within simple structures. This work has also been displayed with sand beneath it to symbolize granularity and evolution. . . , #art #artreveal #sculpture #metal #artoftheday by @novaglore
