The closest comic shop to SDCC! New books, back issues, toys & more. Recently expanded and double the fun. Open 11-7 and hosting signings every day!

POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

Important news about our Buy 1, Get 1 Free flash sale on recent back issues! And about HVAC maintenance and repair! Everyone’s favorite topics!

Yes, we’re running a sale on recent back issues from October 1st until October 15th. It doesn’t include this week’s books, anything on the New Book Wall, or anything already on hold, but it does include THOUSANDS of comics from the last 6 months.

We’re running this sale as a thanks for all your patience while we’ve been fixing our busted AC. We really appreciate your understanding, especially when losing the back wall limited the number of books we had out on display, and ESPECIALLY because losing the AC during the hottest, most humid weeks of the year was far from ideal. Thanks for being so cool while we’ve worked to make the shop more cool. 💙

This sale will run for the next 2 weeks. Come on by, snag some recently released comics, snag some MORE recently released comics for FREE, and enjoy the repaired AC! taken in Now Or Never Comics by @nowornevercomics

It’s Comic-Con week, and we’ve got 2 store exclusive variants available in the shop during SDCC!

Exquisite Corpses - Rascal Randy 1 with cover by @guillaume_martinez_art

Godzilla Vs San Diego with cover by @uppermindink

Rascal Randy is available for purchase RIGHT NOW, and we’ll have copies set aside for the folks attending our Corpse Tour signing on Saturday night. And if you bought a VIP ticket for Corpse Tour you’ll get a copy of our exclusive variant for FREE!

Godzilla will be available on Wednesday, along with all other variants and RI covers. Snag a copy on New Comic Book Day, then get it signed by cover artist @uppermindink in the shop on Sunday!

Both variants are limited to 500 copies, and will only be available in store for $20 each while the con is going on. If we have copies remaining after the show we’ll make them available for online orders.

These are our first solo store exclusive variants from major publishers, and we couldn’t be more stoked to have them both for Comic-Con! taken in Now Or Never Comics by @nowornevercomics

A book with NO pictures? In a comic book store?? It’s true! Something Is Killing The Children: Hope Is a Knife is an original story from the world of one of our best selling comics. And every copy we have comes with a bookplate signed by writers James Tynion IV and Kiersten White, at no additional cost!

SIKTC follows Erica Slaughter, a member of the Order of St. George, a secret society dedicated to hunting literal monsters that are killing children. The ongoing series just hit issue 50, and there are trades, compendiums, hardcovers, and slipcases collecting the run.

Looking for something to read for spooky season? Looking for more SIKTC? Looking for something signed as a gift for the holidays? Check out SIKTC: Hope Is a Knife. 🔪 🔪🔪 taken in Now Or Never Comics by @nowornevercomics

Hey gang, it’s New Comic Book Day! There’s loads of good stuff this week, with about twice as many 1st issues as usual thanks to new titles launching, one shots, anniversary specials, and reprints.

You’ve got DOOM All On One with 50 huge splash pages, a Terminator hunting Archie, the return of Eddie Brock as Venom, a Wolverine riff on Miami Vice, a 12 foot Home Depot skeleton come to life, a demonic baseball team, the return of Starship Godzilla, and plenty of horror titles to tide you over until Halloween! And that’s just a few of the number ones out this week!

Believe it or not, the 2nd issues might be even MORE exciting! Shop fav Karman Blade returns, with stunning Ian Bertram art, as the hunt for a god continues. DC Next Level is firing on all cylinders with 2nd issues for Doom Patrol, Legion of Superheroes and Teen Titans! With 75+ new books coming out every week it can sometimes feel like drinking from the fire hose, but if you missed them when the 1st issues dropped all 4 of these books are definitely worth checking out!

Facsimiles and reprints abound, with a $1 Clayface collection, a classic Neal Adams Batman, a gold foil Battle Beast, a very clever Ice Cream Man with hidden message decoder, a Robocop homage Last Driver cover, a vampire X-Men facsimile to tie into Midnight, and more!

And last but not least, it’s a fun week for trades too! You’ve got compacts for Barbaric, Sabrina and Star Trek. DC Finest has a killer ‘70s horror collection. End of Life Vol 1 collects one of Aaron’s favorite books this year, about a screw up hitman hiding out in a small town with his dad, like a shitty John Wick. And we’ve got a rare novel in the shop, with Something Is Killing the Children: Hope Is a Knife, and all our launch copies come with SIGNED bookplates!

We’re here from 11-7 if there’s anything you need. Drop us a line if you need something put on hold in your pullbox and we’ll do our best to snag it for you. See you soon! taken in Now Or Never Comics by @nowornevercomics

Pushing Monday morning to THE MAXX. Just added a bunch of Sam Kieth books to the new arrivals, including the Arkham Dreams team up with Batman, his iconic Marvel Comics Presents covers, and a full run of The Maxx! We’ve been getting a lot of requests for Kieth books since his passing, as new readers discover his work and older fans want to revisit his ‘90s heyday. Glad to have so much of his work come in all at once.

We’re open our normal hours of 11-7 today, swing by to see what’s new! taken in Now Or Never Comics by @nowornevercomics

We’re hunkered down, working on some rare rainy day projects like putting together a whole mess of card sets from the ‘80s and ‘90s: Marvel, DC, Star Wars, Star Trek, Disney, TMNT, sci fi and fantasy. Plus a sealed box of Jim Lee’s X-Men, loads of chase hologram and foil sets, and yes, even some POGs. Hope you’re all staying dry! taken in Now Or Never Comics by @nowornevercomics

Badass DIY Green Lantern ring spotted at the register on New Comic Book Day! Said that he used a Blackest Night era promo ring as the base, reinforcing it with popsicle sticks before painting it and adding the emerald. Classy accessory for an “independent contractor”! taken in Now Or Never Comics by @nowornevercomics
