I think true love is finding the person who makes life feel a little more like home. Not because everything is perfect, but because even through the hard days, the uncertainty, and the growing pains, there’s something worth choosing again and again.

Real love isn’t just the butterflies. It’s the quiet moments, the laughter, the vulnerability, the forgiveness, and the decision to keep showing up. It’s finding someone who sees you as you are and still wants to build something real with you.

Maybe true love isn’t about finding a perfect person. Maybe it’s about finding the person you’re willing to be perfectly honest with, imperfectly grow with, and wholeheartedly love. ❤️ by @noxisgooning

My sweet Lucy.
I could never repay you for all the things you’d gotten me through during the time was so lucky to have you in my life. will miss your full body barks when you want something. will miss the tippy taps of you running to the door or window to get sniffs. will miss your excited face every year when you got a birthday cake. I know the last 6 months without Penny were your hardest. I am sorry I could not do more to save you but your 16 years on this earth finally took its toll. Both of my girls are gone. I will love you forever. My sweet Lucy. by @noxisgooning

It wasn’t supposed to be like this.
We got the life saving procedure you desperately needed. You were getting better, all tests pointed to recovery. Rushing you across town to the emergency vet for another surgery only to watch you have a stroke in my arms while we were running in the door will forever be burned into my mind.
I’m so sorry we couldn’t save you.
I am sorry your older sister Lucy is alone now.
I am heartbroken.
I will love you forever my sweet Penny. by @noxisgooning

It’s been 3 months since I lost you, everyday I am more heartbroken than the last. I don’t know how I am supposed to just continue life without you mom. I powered through my first holidays without you and now it’s a new year and you aren’t around to make fun of peoples ridiculous resolutions with. Hockey is starting soon and you won’t be here to watch games with. I wish we had spent more time together last year but I know you were only being cautious. I never thought you would leave so suddenly and I miss you every second of every single day. I’ll never be the same again. I love you mom. by @noxisgooning

Fell asleep early last night but HAPPY BIRTHDAY LUCY! I still support you being aggressive towards stupid children just like the day I adopted you. ❤️ by @noxisgooning
