These Model Y steering wheels may look similar, but one is a factory wheel with a cover, and one is a real custom made carbon fiber wheel. We are definitely suckers for real carbon fiber...

We had a Model X come in with a charge port door that had a mind of its own. Opening and closing randomly, and not always doing what it was told to do. After little diagnosis, we found the reason. It shorted out due to water collecting behind the taillamp! How you ask? A drain thay was clogged with debris allowed water to pool up behind the light after car washes. Clean the drain out, replace the charge port door, calibrate, and Voila! The operation was a success!

If you spend any time on the track (or just looking for a lighter alternative to the heavy OEM 12V battery), you'll know weight is the enemy of performance. This Mountain Pass Performance Li-ion 12V battery (Model 3) we installed saves 24lbs over the factory Tesla 12V battery!
