This weekend @smokinteddy competed in one meat masters pork ribs at Campground bbq's Red White and Que. Cooking almost entirely on his own (we still do not trust him with knives) he managed to get a 3rd place call beating some of the top rib cooks in the world!

This Sunday at noon we will once again be cooking at karmacue. It's a charity people's choice cookoff benefiting the Port Washington Community Chest so if you'd like to try some delicious ribs for a good cause come on down, just try to get there by noon because we will sell our fast. by @npotb_bbq

After a very long drive home I made it back from Lynchburg, Tennessee where I had the privilege of competing with my friends on team Grandpa Val's at the Jack aka "the super bowl of barbecue". It was an awesome week filled with great stories and concluding with a 4th place brisket call in one of the most prestigious cooking events in the world!

Today we competed in the 3rd annual First State Barbecue Bash. Despite forgetting all our knives at home, having our tent snapped in half from the wind at 5am, and cooking out in the rain during a Nor'Easter we had a really good day. 4th place chicken (1st through 4th all, had the exact same score), 9th in ribs, and 5th overall out of 39 teams!

Thanks to @thegoodcharcoal for keeping our smokers running perfectly in some horrible weather!

Had to stock up on the best charcoal out there at my local hardware store before cooking. Good food deserves good charcoal!

This weekend we competed up in Hiram Maine at the Kora Kares for Kids BBQ contest. We ended up getting 10th in brisket and 10th overall in a loaded field of over 50 teams. One of the highlights though was competing head to head against @smokinteddy in ribs.
Congrats to @smoke.sisters.barbecue_ on the RGC!
And last but not least thanks to @thegoodcharcoal for the cleanest and best burning charcoal to fuel our smokers.

This weekend we competed in @fatkidsbbq and @sticksandstonesbbque 's Connecticut Barbecue Challenge. Despite not having our best cook we did manage to get a perfect 180 in chicken, even if the organizer didn't acknowledge it. You know who you are.
Thanks to @thegoodcharcoal for supplying us with the best fuel for Barbecue

For the happiest of father's days I smoked some Dino ribs that I spent all week curing into pastrami. Might never be able to eat regular Dino ribs again, they were that good.
