Next up Songwriter @jamigroomsmusic!
Jami Grooms is known for raw, honest songs about family, real life, redemption, and the road it takes to get there. His music is rooted in real stories—hard living, bad decisions, tough lessons, and ultimately the grace of God. Now many years sober, his songs carry the kind of truth that can only come from living it.

He has written songs for Eddie Montgomery, Colt Ford, Bryan Martin, Brent Cobb, Matt Mason, and Jacob Bryant, among others. With over 63 million streams, his catalog includes the viral mother-son dance anthem “Her Little Man,” which has earned more than 35 million views on TikTok alone.

Jami has also written for FAME Studios in Muscle Shoals and Sony/ATV Music Publishing, continuing to build a career rooted in authentic songwriting and Southern soul. Most days, when he’s not on stage or in the writing room, he’s at home on the farm with his beautiful wife—living the same life he writes and sings about. by @nsai_jill

It's time for another Songwriter Spotlight!
Ryan Jacobs is a Nashville-based country artist blending the melodic strength of ’90s country with the grit of modern Americana. Raised in small town Oregon and shaped by years living in Europe and Mexico, Jacobs brings a distinct global perspective to classic country storytelling. His sound draws from the timeless hooks of Brooks & Dunn and Tim McGraw, paired with the raw, introspective edge of Tyler Childers and Sturgill Simpson.

Our next Artist/Writer/Producer to spotlight is @brookshuntleyofficial!

Brooks Huntley embodies the spirit of country music in his own way. On the bedrock of classic story-telling, musicality, and John-Mayer-like inspired guitar sensibilities, he’s carved out a lane all his own. Brooks is the grandson of a lifetime professional blues musician and byproduct of the Live Music Capital of the World, Austin, TX.

He started playing downtown Austin bars at 12 years old and built his craft with influences from Keith Urban, Noah Kahan, Eagles, Jason Isbell, and John Mayer. His soulful tenor voice has been heard from ‘Dirty 6th’ in Austin, to the top 30 on ABC’s “Rising Star”, to Nashville’s legendary Bluebird Cafe, where he was invited to sing his song ‘Roots Now’ by hall of fame songwriter, Liz Rose. Brooks is also an accomplished producer and songwriter, producing, Matt Cooper’s “Highs and Lows”, which broke the top 50 on the MediaBase Country charts. Look for much more on the horizon from the budding Country star. by @nsai_jill

A few years ago NSAI kicked off a new program to highlight our Songwriter and Artist members that we felt were ready to be showcased to the industry. Since then many of our members have gone on to sign publishing and management deals. In this new series we will be highlighting these writers and where they are now!

WOLF MAHLER!
Wolf is one of Sea Gayle’s newest and most promising signings. Growing up just outside of Nashville, Wolf spent his childhood years homeschooled on a tour bus. After watching his mom and dad land a record deal with Sony Music, he’d frequently find himself watching from the wings at Wildhorse Saloon, where his parents were the house band. However, when they eventually lost their record deal, his family placed themselves back to their roots in Texas.

In his high school years, Wolf dedicated himself to athletics, where he won four Junior Olympic titles by his senior year. He would then go on to not only receive a track and field scholarship at The University of Texas at Austin, but he would then earn 5 All-American titles, qualify for the Olympic Trials, and eventually garner world class coaching credentials at the World Championships.

However, he left this all behind to move back to Nashville and chase his musical dreams. Upon returning, Wolf began attending NSAI’s Songwriter Spotlight showcases, where he would be discovered by Sea Gayle Music’s JD Groover.

Wolf is equipped with the versatility and strength of his life experiences and brings them with him for every collaboration as a songwriter and musician. His debut single, "Tennessee In Texas", sets him apart in the country scene and showcases his natural talent as a songwriter and artist. by @nsai_jill
