This weekend I was fortunate enough to participate in the Johnson & Johnson Institute 2026 Acuvue Intern Program! While touring their headquarters, we got to visit their amazing manufacturing facility (where they make all of the @acuvue contact lenses for the US + more!), fit multifocal contact lenses on real patients, and visit the scEYEnce fair to learn about their innovative technology!

We also got to hear from some incredible doctors like @drdarrylglover on how to be everyone’s favorite optometrist and Dr. Kurt Moody on the amazing pupil-optimized design behind Acuvue multifocals (from the inventor himself)!

I am excited to continue working with this amazing group to bring a glimpse of what I learned to my colleagues at NSU 👁️✨ #acuvue by @nsuoptometry
