Unicorn Level Rarity ⁣
⁣
⁣1988, Bandai’s Carddass Vending Machine display
⁣
⁣1st EVER Dragon Ball display. Graded a CGC 7.0. Currently the highest grade
⁣
⁣This is Bandai’s Carddass Vending Machine display. This display was not for sale. It was used as a front display of the vending machine to show what cards you could potentially get. Back in those days most of these machines were outdoors outside toy stores, exposed to the elements. Once the series is done the store owner would remove that display and change it accordingly. These were the days before booster packs existed in Japan.
⁣
If you REALLY think about it. Each machine can be topped up with hundreds to thousands of cards (each set only has 42 different cards). However there is ONLY 1 display per machine and they weren’t for sale.

⁣Many have asked to see my old stuff
⁣
⁣Brief history. I’ve been collecting Dragon Ball since the later 80s-90s when living in Japan (yes I’m old….)
⁣
⁣Remember watching it everyday Wednesday every evening on TV. Even though I barely understood much Japanese it was the 24 mins I looked forward to each week
⁣
⁣These cards in the binder were all pulled from PPs or twisted from the Carddass machines. The number of school lunches I skipped to save and detoured to the local toy stores on the way home from school.
⁣
⁣I’ve kept them all these years. But my mum did throw some away 😑. All the big cards are in the bank deposit box
⁣
⁣I hope you all enjoy thy this vid by @null_collector

Ichiraku Ramen from Naruto. ⁣
⁣
⁣The Naruto craze in China is huge. Running all sorts of licensed merch and promotions.
⁣
⁣Had to give this place a try juts because it’s Naruto. ⁣
⁣
⁣As a souvenir from the ramen store I grabbed Naruto’s Gama-Chan coin purse 😁

Official Kayou Store in China. Kayou translates to Card Fun/Card Game
⁣
⁣Started off as a trading card company and has vastly expanded to various collectibles with massive licenses to IPs like Dragon Ball, Naruto, One Piece, Gundam, My Little Pony, JJK and tons more.
⁣
⁣What mainly sets them aside to other licensing companies are that they have the rights to create new art and designs that we’ve not seen in the Japanese and Western markets making their cards, toys, stationary and apparel unique to the company
⁣
⁣Recently expanding to the English market. This giant company in China is only just beginning Ans they plan to launch their own TCG in the future.

This was officially released on 18th-19th Dec 2021 at Jump Festa for the Jump Festa 2022⁣
⁣
⁣Though it’s not part of the TCG. This is the first serialised One Piece card.
⁣
⁣During the event there were other metal cards available as well including MHA and JJK. Though those had a higher release number, this Luffy gold card was limited to only approximately 350 copies.
⁣
YES ONLY about 350 copies. And it’s been graded by PSA, CGC and Beckett by @null_collector

⁣1989, FIRST for Dragon Ball Z.
⁣Carddass Hondan Part 3
⁣
⁣The 1st set for DBZ. 2 unopened MINT white boxes that’s a whopping 37 years old.
⁣
⁣The set that year brought the Saiyans to Earth and the path to Frieza and Namek
⁣
⁣⁣Monster list of rookie from the Hondan series
⁣- Gohan
⁣- Nappa
⁣- Raditz
⁣- Adult Goku
⁣- Error Arlia Vegeta
⁣- Normal Vegeta
⁣And a lot more…..
⁣
⁣
200 cards. 10+ prisms⁣
⁣
⁣Collectors who know, know that vending machine cards are riddled with hair line scratches and imperfections from the machines. White boxes are the closet anyone can get to the MINITIEST versions of the cards
⁣
⁣
⁣Boxes remain sealed. I won’t be opening them. Pics of the prism cards taken off eBay and Google
