Coming soon to Peters Street (downtown Atlanta), this is a cafe & bar that celebrates Black brilliance across the generations. Where the ideas of great American thinkers, writers, and artists meet the rhythms of the African diaspora. Our globally-inspired menu and music will draw from many traditions.

Think: trini doubles, jollof rice, fonio bowls, suya spiced sweet potatoes, ricottta pancakes w/toasted coconut, egg sandwich.

Think: AfroHouse and jazz playing throughout the day. Cocktails and mocktails at night.

Calling all Marthas - it’s time to get our Mary on.

😣If you’re tired of worrying and ready to find real rest - this is the experience you’ve been looking for.

Join us for a beautiful afternoon of abiding in Christ’s presence through creative expression, scripture meditation, and community.

🎶Set to the background of relaxing music and cozy vibes at Daydreamer’s Coffee in Midtown ATL we will spend our time in:

✍🏾repetitive writing and scripture journaling
🎨creative scripture expression art collage making
🎙️sharing how God has revealed himself to us through His word

☕️🍂All while sipping warm coffee or tea as we catch these fall vibes.

Art supplies will be provided for those new to this experience. We welcome our crafty creatives to bring your own supplies as well.

Human connection is a gift, and making those connections is a blessing.

I attended Chef Sanza’s @yeovilledinnerclub pop-up in Cape Town earlier this year, still dreaming about his cassava leaves and storytelling 7 months later.

Two weeks ago, I met Alison at @localmagicwisdom - the culinary content studio she’s been building with her heart and hands (and has the power tools to prove it) on Historic Peters Street. We got connected about hosting a game night with @thisisplotshift - the game I created in SA. So I showed it in action…at that dinner in Cape Town.

“We should do something like that here.” We both agree.

Then a week ago, I ran into Sanza at @hitpatlanta
I don’t believe in coincidences. I connected the dots, and just like watercolors, they bloomed.

What happened around that table felt significant. Substantial in a way you often can’t see while you’re living inside the moment.

The pan-African flavors. The new friendships. The energy that kept the conversations going til morning. If you were there, you’re not forgetting this one. It was a reminder of what community and connection feels like.

Thank you Damola and @bayabgin for introducing us to the baobab plant. We created a saffron pineapple spritzer, and just like its name, it gave us life.

Thank you to everyone in the room. The magic was built from community. This is Atlanta at its finest. The evolution of legacy.

In 2025 we took a small group to Colombia's Pacific Coast, one of the most biodiverse and least visited coastlines in the country. Nura was one of the travelers who came with us.

What she felt out there is something we witness every single time. 🌊
