Altitude simulation training is a practice that encompasses specific breathing patterns, breath-holds, and targeted respiratory muscle exercises to simulate the physiological stress of low-oxygen (hypoxic) and high-carbon-dioxide (hypercapnic) environments. Using these training techniques has been shown to improve respiratory muscle strength, breathing efficiency, and perceived exertion. @nuwlax @oxygenadvantage #breathe #collegelacrosse #breathwork #training #performance @coach_it_42 taken in Norwich University by @nuwlax

Breathwork workshop with @nuwlax focused on using our breath to improve performance, nervous system regulation and as a tool to improve overall mental health. This group of student athletes always show up focused and ready to breathe. I am grateful for the opportunities I’ve had to work with this group and look forward to our Spring session!! #cadlax #lacrosse #breathwork #studentathlete #mentalhealth @oxygenadvantage @coach_it_42 @norwichuniversity taken in Norwich University by @nuwlax
