Willkommen im Chez Natalie. Ein Hotel voller geheimer Momente, in dem alle Gäste außergewöhnlich gut riechen.

Draußen glänzt der Asphalt vom Regen. Als du durch die schwere Glastür trittst, wird es stiller. Warmes Licht auf schwarzem Stein, irgendwo klirrt ein Glas. Du wolltest eigentlich nur deinen Schlüssel holen.

Dann geht jemand an dir vorbei.
Und natürlich musst du wissen, welches Parfum das ist.

Die Begegnung in der Lobby, wegen der du den nächsten Aufzug fahren lässt.
Nie hat eine Kaugummi-Tuberose besser gerochen. Ein sanfter Hauch von Tabak und Leder liegen in der Luft. Modern, frech und aufregend.

Der letzte Drink hinter dem Samtvorhang. Aus einem höflichen „Ist hier noch frei?“ wird ein ziemlich langer Abend.
Betörende Tuberose mit animalischen Noten und Gewürzen. Er riecht ihr teures Puder. Der Geschmack von Gin liegt auf der Zunge.

Dein Rückzug in Zimmer 404. Endlich die Schuhe aus, die Stadt vor dem Fenster und für einen Moment niemand, der etwas von dir will.

Die Suite mit dem „Bitte nicht stören“-Schild. Unsere Rezeption ist diskret. Ich bin’s eventuell weniger.

Grief doesn’t move in a straight line. Sometimes it looks like anger or sadness. Sometimes it looks like numbness, bargaining, yearning, or learning how to carry what changed.

Competition time and this is something different which I have not done before. This is a chance for someone living in the UK to get your hands on a bottle of deluge by @nvrnagn

This fragrance was created by @d__twit as a method to remember his daughter who would have been 23 years old today.

It’s a memory steeped in tragedy and encased within this fragrance. I have a spare unopened bottle and believe this should be shared rather than me keeping it.

In order to qualify you need to following @flawed_foolish_and_fragrance @nvrnagn and @vnb_agency_official on Instagram

You need to drop a like and save this video. Lastly tag two accounts in the comments below to qualify. This will only be through instagram that you will qualify for the competition.

THE POLARIS GUIDE — PART III

Now we leave the obvious behind.

Part III of our Polaris edit moves into stranger territory — where rain falls on concrete, flowers grow from memory, Cold War kitchens become perfume, fruit turns forbidden, and smoke, leather, tea and skin tell stories a note pyramid alone never could.

For this chapter, we selected 18 houses and 18 fragrances worth stopping for at Polaris AW26.

Not necessarily the easiest ones.
Not necessarily the bestsellers.
And definitely not always the safest choices.

These are perfumes with a point of view.

Expect imaginary landscapes, cinematic memories, mythical creatures, champagne florals, animalic oud, forbidden fruit and compositions sitting somewhere between perfume and art.

THE DETAIL TO KNOW
The Light was named Fragrance of the Year 2025 at the Universal Beauty Awards. NEH also explores fragrance as part of a broader multisensory experience through affirmations and sound.

This article is dedicated to Ava, and her love for rain.

She passed away in 2020 during a long struggle with a brain tumour.

The conceptual perfume "Deluge" is a tribute to her, by her father Daniel Liatowitsch, and their common love for rain. The perfumer is Andreas Wilhelm, who helped construct this dream, into olfaction.

This is Daniels story.
