The UAE has shown itself to be an enemy of liberation, supporting genocide both in Palestine and Sudan. Its ambassador to the US openly endorsed Trump’s plan to expel Gaza’s population, backing the ethnic cleansing of Palestinians. The UAE has long normalized Israeli occupation, funded spyware to suppress Palestinian activists, and partnered with imperialist powers. Additionally, it is the largest backer of the RSF in Sudan, funding their brutal campaign of violence and displacement. By profiting from both Palestinian and Sudanese blood, the UAE perpetuates imperialism and genocide.

The call is clear: boycott the UAE and hold those who engage with it accountable.

The National Museum of Sudan is home to priceless artifacts from Nubia, ancient Kush, ancient Egypt, and the Paleolithic and Neolithic eras, as well as from Christian Nubian and Islamic cultures, including Greek and Coptic inscriptions. This rich collection represents the profound historical and cultural heritage of Sudan. However, the RSF, backed by the UAE, is not merely involved in a “civil war”; they are carrying out an orchestrated campaign of ethnic cleansing and settler colonialism. Their actions are aimed at erasing Sudan’s cultural identity and history, including the treasures held within this museum.
