The war in Sudan began on April 15, 2023.
One year later, the UN called it “the world’s worst displacement and hunger crisis” — warning that famine was looming.

We’re now in the third year of war, and famine is no longer a warning.
Famine is here. And it’s taking our children.

The Sudanese Doctors Union estimates that 522,000 infants have died from famine since the war began (source: Sudan Tribune). Let’s pause here.

⸻

Some of the key escalations in just the last 60 days:
🔸 April 10–13: RSF attacked Zamzam and Abu Shouk camps in North Darfur.
Hundreds of people were lost. Survivors fled on foot — many collapsed from thirst in the desert.
🔸 May 4: RSF launched drone strikes on Port Sudan — the last major humanitarian hub.
🔸 May 15: RSF drones hit Khartoum’s power grid.
Hospitals went dark. Water stopped. Cholera surged, especially among children.
🔸 June 3: A WFP/UNICEF aid convoy was attacked.
Five aid workers were killed. Food was destroyed.
🔸 June 11: RSF seized the Libya–Egypt–Sudan border triangle.
A key smuggling route. SAF withdrew. The war is spreading north.

The most tragic part is how preventable it all is. Blocked aid, destroyed infrastructure, foreign-backed weapons, and global silence. To the Sudanese diaspora, and to all those who believe in humanity — we need your voice.
Speak up, amplify, organize. Because without pressure, political will remains non-existent. Free Sudan. 🇸🇩📣

Sudan is facing the world’s worst humanitarian crisis — and barely anyone’s talking about it.

150,000+ killed
12M+ displaced
18M+ starving
Ethnic cleansing in Darfur
Hospitals, schools, and entire cities destroyed.
This is a genocide. Don’t look away.

This Ramadan, as we break our fast in peace, millions in Sudan are starving, displaced, and living through unimaginable horrors. Families torn apart, children crying out for food, entire villages erased. Please, don’t forget Sudan in your duaas. Pray for mercy, for justice, for an end to this suffering. Ya Allah, let this be the Ramadan that brings relief to Sudan.

The UAE has shown itself to be an enemy of liberation, supporting genocide both in Palestine and Sudan. Its ambassador to the US openly endorsed Trump’s plan to expel Gaza’s population, backing the ethnic cleansing of Palestinians. The UAE has long normalized Israeli occupation, funded spyware to suppress Palestinian activists, and partnered with imperialist powers. Additionally, it is the largest backer of the RSF in Sudan, funding their brutal campaign of violence and displacement. By profiting from both Palestinian and Sudanese blood, the UAE perpetuates imperialism and genocide.

The call is clear: boycott the UAE and hold those who engage with it accountable.

In the midst of conflict, your generosity has brought hope to two remarkable initiatives in Sudan.

We’ve provided food supplies to the Al Hula Al Gadida North Charity Kitchen, ensuring families receive nourishment during these difficult times.

In the Gabra Base ERR Kitchen, located within a school run by courageous volunteer teachers, your support is helping sustain not only meals but also the education of children in RSF-controlled areas. Despite the dangers, these teachers opened the school to offer informal education and a sense of routine, shielding kids from the violence around them.

These efforts are truly inspiring, and we’re proud to dedicate 25% of our funds to Sudan, ensuring hope and stability in communities that need it most. Thank you for standing with us!

The RSF Paramilitary Group invasion of Sudan has reached The Blue and White Nile States. Those are places of which many displaced people seek refuge.
