100 years, and the New York Design Center is just getting started!

Since 1926, 200 Lex has been a vibrant marketplace known for new introductions. A century later, the elevators are still busy, the showrooms are still dazzling, and the design community is still calling 200 Lex home.

To celebrate, 100 Years and Counting is a film that captures the heartbeat of 200 Lex and some of the people who make it all worth it. A look at the past, a glance at the present, and an eye on tomorrow. 100 and counting…

An only-in-New-York evening at Katz’s Delicatessen.

On the eve of What’s New, What’s Next, the Design Leadership Network and the New York Design Center (@nydc) brought members and partners together for a memorable dinner at one of the city’s most beloved institutions. Against the unmistakable backdrop of Katz’s, guests gathered over pastrami sandwiches, classic New York fare, and lively conversation to celebrate the people and relationships that make this community so special.

The iconic setting brought a distinctly New York spirit to the evening—energetic, unexpected, and full of character. It was the perfect way to kick off What’s New, What’s Next and celebrate the New York Design Center during its centennial year.

Thank you to everyone who joined us and made the night one to remember. We loved gathering with our community in a place that could only be New York.
