1,2,3 Color gradients, camera settings , and check time stamps running 1,2,3 Best Buy for essentials, Slow shutter speeds, and birds eye view. 1st Photoshoot on the rare occasion of the 5c floor without paintings. It was something connected the art of the artist for my 1st photoshoot. I really got to geek out about all my concepts and ideas. Thank you Justin ( @one.n.only.justin ) for coming and assisting in the photography. Justin came to me after I ask to do his fit check. He volunteered to record one of my fit checks during a busy time in the Winter Quarter. Justin helped me record  a few of the videos before  I received the tripods and mini microphones.  I had to get creative for my interviews. 😅. He also volunteered to work both  + three hours during the first photo shoot supporting me in many ways including the BTS for the shoot . I will forever be grateful. Thank you too Ameera ( @forever_loved_ameera ) who help with the flow of the shoot . I want to of course thank my peers for being apart of the interviews and photoshoot. Thank you to  Cathy (@pure_artisan22 ) Thank you Mel ( @m3lspace_ ) Thank you Aigner (@plutopasta ), Thank you Feifan (@feifan96 ) Thank you Austin (@austin_scooby_ ) Thank you Robby (@_robbywasabi_ ) Thank you Jesus(@jpalo_m ) Thank you Chase(@chasecorallo29 ) After several moodboard images and notion list  of concept development I am ready to begin the first photo shoot . This whole project is putting me in my Art Direction focus. I start directing my models positions, and the placement of the lighting.  In addition merged the older techniques along with new accessories. It was special having my first photoshoot taken on my own Canon R100 because it’s my first official professional camera  that I’ve owned . One of my favorite moments of the shoot other than seeing the turn out ☺️ was listening  to all the random and interesting conversations . It would’ve never came together without yall. Thanks again to everyone who participated in Season 1. Let’s get this Honey Drip Check started . Vanessa knew what to do go to. AHMAs in Sandy Spring I literally met Vanessa and it was. It’s so insane. The amount of skills that everybody in the hair salon boutique has I feel like I’ve had somebody at one person at least throughout the whole Salon including Miss Alma herself to do my hair and they’re so fast and I know I’m there the whole day but they’re like the technique and the consistency in each braid is an art and I feel like people should really acknowledge that more like the art of reading is insane. I have been going to the same hair salon since I was the time I had started college. And every single time they never missed the signature. Pink highlights really came from my childhood where I always really glamorize and wanted to be in my 20s so I had made sure to really wait from freshman year and sophomore year where I had a event blend to then junior late sophomore year into senior year going into pink to release signify like this is like the core branding, Nyla art direction. Like the pink brown and light brown highlights with way more than a trend of any sort it was really first wanting to show the light that I saw myself when I was younger and suck it really because I just didn’t really see a lot of especially black dark skin queens with pink highlights now of course now you see a difference like everybody rocks, the wigs and everything but especially like I’m born 2002 like you didn’t see any of that so I suppose just things that I wanna do in the future I really like one that would be significant for my brand and yeah I love it. I love it every time ago there that’s why I get the same thing one day. I wanna try like doing something with my parts and stuff like that, but I always do so many styles and lost so long and I love it. by @nylas.multimedia
