🫧🪸 I’m as old as the sea. And I draw Cosmo x Wanda fanart for some reason.
POSTS STORIES REELS
Cosmo & Wanda as Jack & Sally, what in the early 2000s deviantArt hell ✨💚🎃🩷✨ It’s been a rough October for me, so here are some very self-serving doodles. Have a safe and pleasant Halloween(ie), everybody. 💜 #fairlyoddparents #cosmoandwanda #coswan #nightmarebeforechristmas #fopfanart by @nymphtasmic
An installment of my Little Mermaid x Fairly Oddparents AU that I posted to Twitter early last September but forgot to upload here. This was a very old idea that never got structured into a proper comic. My biggest regret is that Wanda isn’t surrounded by lots of discarded petals on that second page. Originally she was only going to maul one flower, and I forgot to make adjustments. Poor Juandissimo…I am sorry I only use you for jokes like these. You can live happily ever after with Cupid sometime ehhhh later 🌊🐚🩷💚🪸🌊 #thefairlyoddparents #cosmoandwanda #coswan #littlermaidau #fopfanart by @nymphtasmic
Cursing Instagram with my Fairly Oddparents x Little Mermaid AU fanart Part 9/9 - so far! ✨ We are finally caught up to the present with these tlmcoswan reposts. These drawings are from June 2026 and up into the present day of 8/10/26, so their badness cannot be excused by “they’re old.” Notes: 🫧 I do not know why I drew Cosmo and Wanda abandoning their rowboat instead of using it to get home, I really don’t. 🫧 In this AU, Wanda is 18 years old and Timmy is 10. So often they have a more sibling-type dynamic, but Wanda acts pretty maternal toward him too. Here they’re playing games as good sibbies do. 🫧 The drawings of Wanda emerging from the water are not meant to be a comic, but rather two different takes of the same scene. I have two versions of this AU in my head: the one that’s totally FOP in its goofiness and stakes, and the more serious one with more glamor and angst. So sometimes I can’t resist drawing both (even though this turned out super bad and visually confusing). 🫧 I know I draw Wanda in a lot of dresses. In my defense we know for a fact Wanda loves dresses and feminine stuff as much pants and macho stuff. I would totally draw her in more suits if I didn’t love drawing dresses way more, and yet I also ADORE women in suits so wtf is that disconnect. Anyway the point is that we can have it all with Wanda (she would want it that way). 🫧 Most of these WIP sketches are for drawings that haven’t been finished yet, so maybe look forward to those coming out uhhhhhh 🌊🐚🩷💚🪸🌊 #thefairlyoddparents #cosmoandwanda #coswan #littlemermaidau #fopfanart by @nymphtasmic
Slapping my Fairly Oddparents x Little Mermaid AU fanart shtuffs onto Instagram Part 8/??? ✨ This is a comic that I finished and posted to Twitter on 5/2/26. It was one of the older jokes that I had written down for this AU (because yeah, it’s serious enough for me to have a list on the notes app where I record ideas to dig up and draw whenever). Art is whatever like always. Haha panels and backgrounds and full body drawings, what are those 🌊🐚🩷💚🪸🌊 #thefairlyoddparents #cosmoandwanda #coswan #littlemermaidau #fopfanart by @nymphtasmic
Archiving my Fairly Oddparents x Little Mermaid AU art on Instagram Part 7/??? ✨ This time instead of a bundle of assorted goods, we have one post dedicated entirely to one long (for me) comic. In this part of the story when the prince finds the mute mermaid-turned-human and takes her back to his castle, Cosmo gifts Wanda her first ever pair of shoes. He doesn’t know who she is or WHAT she really is, and so he doesn’t anticipate how big of a deal this gift is. This was long in the making, something that I would pick away at in spurts. It was supposed to be a much shorter comic, but the longer it sat in my files, the longer the scene became in my imagination. That’s why the writing wanders and the quality of the art varies. Sorry that it’s just bodies in the void; no backgrounds, no layouts, no nothin’. But I do that a lot these days. Originally posted to Twitter on 4/18/26, because that was the month that I finally locked in on this (I sacrificed a lot of sleep for no good reason). 🌊🐚🩷💚🪸🌊 #thefairlyoddparents #cosmoandwanda #coswan #littlemermaidau #fopfanart by @nymphtasmic
Posting my Little Mermaid x Fairly Oddparents AU fanart to Instagram Part 6/??? ✨ This batch is from March of 2026 through May of 2026, so we’re getting to the more recent stuff. Notes: 🫧 Over on Twitter where these were originally posted, I gabbed a lot about character thoughts for this AU, especially when I posted art like that first picture. The characters all have different thoughts about Wanda’s human obsession, and none of them understand it. Just like in the show, Wanda doesn’t talk back to her dad, so she can’t even defend herself. 🫧 Cosmo’s solitude is also a big deal in this AU. I envision Cosmo and Wanda as being unloved or mistreated before meeting each other in most universes. Wanda encounters Cosmo more than once in this AU before he even knows she exists, and so she overhears him disparaging his own intelligence and the like. 🫧 For that piggyback drawing, that’s to illustrate that when Wanda is new to having legs, they give out on her sometimes. 🫧 Timmy hiding in Wanda’s hair is a redraw of a screenshot of Flounder hiding in Ariel’s hair. 🫧 Juandissimo isn’t trying to drown Wanda on purpose; he forgets how humans work. Still inconsiderate to hit on a married woman however. 🫧 The little teen Cosmo with the braces is a royal portrait from when he adopted Halloweenie as a puppy. 🌊🐚🩷💚🪸🌊 #thefairlyoddparents #cosmoandwanda #coswan #littlemermaidau #fopfanart by @nymphtasmic
Posting my old Fairly Oddparents x Little Mermaid AU art to Instagram Part 5/??? ✨ At this point my Coswan TLM AU stuff became less frequent, and so these drawings range from July of 2025 to as late as March of 2026. Btw, whenever I post these batches, the pics themselves are not in exact chronological order. Notes: 🫧 Scuttle was finally cast and it’s…Bary the Dinosaur? Yeah I had a whole slew of reasons for it that I listed on Twitter, but I think I’m going to change it. Mostly, I didn’t want to turn anybody into a bird because I didn’t turn Cupid and Timmy into a crab and fish. And I didn’t want any merfolk who were closer up to humans than Wanda was. It’s a whole thing, and I think I’ll be changing it (sorry, Bary). 🫧 But this is a casting decision I will stand by forever: HALLOWEENIE AS MAX. Halloweenie is a big meme to me and my tiny circle so lol of course I get to shove him into this AU. He’s a good boy who has never done anything wrong in his life, and I think he would be a great comfort to poor lonely Prince Cosmo. 🫧 The yellow dress drawings were in anticipation of a comic about shoes that I had so longed to finish (and eventually did!). These kind of happen after that. 🫧 It’s an ongoing thing in this AU that because Cosmo doesn’t know Wanda’s real name, he uses every single name he can think of because that’s how his brain works. Wanda thinks it’s funny. <3 🫧 The carriage stuff, I actually drew almost first thing when starting this project, but I never finished. These are hasty redraws (and they’re still unfinished). 🌊🐚🩷💚🪸🌊 #thefairlyoddparents #cosmoandwanda #coswan #littlemermaidau #fopfanart by @nymphtasmic
Posting my old Little Mermaid x Fairly Oddparents AU art over to Instagram Part 4/??? ✨ This batch of drawings spans from late January of 2025 to early May of 2025. Except that comic about Wanda inspecting Cosmo’s feet, that’s from 6/27/25, and the last three page comic about Cosmo and The Disembodied Hand is actually quite older than any of these (I just put it together and posted it in WIP scribble form in July 2025). Notes: 🫧 You’d think there’d be more Kiss the Girl art, but I want that scene to be really lovely, so I never finish any of the drawings I start for it. Nothing is ever good enough… 🫧 After having a very rocky relationship growing up, Wanda and Blonda make up after Wanda becomes a human. I haven’t drawn it, but Big Daddy and Wanda’s relationship remains toxic, but…less so. 🫧 I want to finish a drawing of Cosmo twirling Wanda in her sparkly foam dress so bad, but I can’t paint and I can’t draw, and so I gave up on that there WIP you see. *Siiiigh* someday….perchance… 🫧 That image of Cosmo and Wanda holding each other on the beach goes with the Sanderson and H.P. pics as part of a comic. 🫧 Those thumbnail scribbles of Wanda are meant for a scene I really should draw sometime of her telling her story to Cosmo in pantomime. I think she’d be quite animated doing it. 🫧 A little bonus Hazel mermaid for ya. In this AU, I haven’t made up my mind on if she’s born human or mermaid. Sorry she got cut off. Damn you, Instagram 🌊🐚🩷💚🪸🌊 #thefairlyoddparents #cosmoandwanda #coswan #littlemermaidau #fopfanart by @nymphtasmic
Transferring my old Little Mermaid x Fairly Oddparents art over to Instagram Part 3/??? ✨ This batch of drawings ranges from late December of 2024 to February of 2025. 🫧 Timmy Turner is the Flounder of the story. It was a toss-up between him and Hazel, but I decided Hazel should be from Peri’s generation, and I thought Timmy fit Flounder just a smidge better. For some reason? Haha. 🫧 Keeping with what I said before, Wanda and her new family can borrow the trident to become merpeople any time, and they do. 🫧 This was when Big Daddy got a much needed redesign. A shirt and a fedora, much better. 🫧 I got braver about drawing, and so H.P. and Sanderson got their awkward upgrade into the Disney-ish style that I do. 🫧 Since I’ve decided that Wanda’s transformation back into a mermaid goes a little differently than in the movie, the sunset drawings are a smidge outdated. 🫧 I’ve tried, oh god how I’ve tried to do a proper royal portrait of Cosmo, Wanda, and Peri. Somedayyy… 🫧 Before Cosmo and Wanda get their happily ever after, they have a scene where Wanda tries to do the “right” thing and leave Cosmo forever because she thinks she’ll be stuck as a mermaid. Cosmo begs her to stay. The scene is supposed to be longer, but here a couple doodles for it. 🌊🐚🩷💚🪸🌊 #thefairlyoddparents #cosmoandwanda #coswan #littlemermaidau #fopfanart by @nymphtasmic
Transferring my old Little Mermaid x Fairly Oddparents AU art over to Instagram Part 2/??? ✨ These are all from December of 2024 (I was kind of a machine at the time). Here art mine notes: 🫧 Peri would be the Melody of the story, but here’s the thing: I do not like Little Mermaid II and I think the plot is contrived, so we’d have to work something else out lol (I am so sorry). Still, I do like the idea of him wanting to be a merman more than a human. In my AU, after Cosmo and Wanda get married, they’re allowed to switch back and forth between being humans and merfolk any time with the trident, so Peri would have the same privilege. But that didn’t stop me from drawing the joke. 🫧 Cupid is the Sebastian of the story. He’s a court composer who doesn’t realize he likes matchmaking until after he helps Wanda win Prince Cosmo. 🫧 For a good while I was afraid I didn’t have the ability to draw H.P. in a Disney style so I drew the pixies as floating FOP style guys. I fixed this later. Cosmo is in red because this isn’t his true wedding; his actual wedding clothes are white and green. Wanda’s in a dress in this, but later I decided she gets magic’d back into the seashell bra for the transformation back into a mermaid. 🫧 Jorgen is the Grimsby of the story and he hates his job. 🫧 Juandissimo has no film counterpart; he’s just Wanda’s pesky ex. 🫧 The 4 part comic with Cosmo’s head on Wanda’s lap is about him being obsessed with her voice. <333 🫧 The anti-fairies were for a Friday the 13th gag haha. I think their true role in this AU would be as sequel villains. 🌊🐚🩷💚🪸🌊 #thefairlyoddparents #cosmoandwanda #coswan #littlemermaidau by @nymphtasmic
Finally, I am transferring my Little Mermaid x Fairly Oddparents AU over to Instagram! This is Part 1/??? ✨ Back in autumn of 2024, I was getting back into not only FOP but drawing in general after years of hardly touching a pencil or stylus. I wanted to find a style that was a hybrid of FOP and my usual Disney shtick. I also only had the most cheap, bare bones version of Sai ever. All of this combined made for hideous artwork. Important first steps tho, I guess. I love mermaids, so that’s why of my Disney crossover ideas, this is the one that went crazy out of control and I’m still drawing it to this day. I’m gonna try to post this mostly in order. Notes: 🫧 These drawings are from late November to mid December of 2024. 🫧 That first image is what started it all. I might have refrained from doing any more, because I knew it was a self-indulgent idea to start with, and I figured most people wouldn’t feel it was right for coswan. But I really like what this AU does for them, and… 🫧 When I had the thought that H.P. should be Ursula because both characters have a propensity to use contracts for evil, the jokes started to flow in my head. 🫧 I would end up changing Cosmo’s first viewing of the yellow dress later, but the important thing is that I accidentally wrote “swiry” instead of “swirly.” Geez. 🫧 This first time I drew Big Daddy as King Triton, I tried to show that I was brave enough to draw him without a shirt. This was the wrong call and this drawing scares me. 🫧 The last four images are part of one set meant to illustrate that most people are unkind to Wanda’s voice in this AU, at least where she’s from. This is meant to reflect how mean people are to her in the worst seasons of the show. I wouldn’t accept it as canon, but the little mermaid’s voice being so very beautiful is an important plot point in the original film. Therefore, it should mean something that Wanda’s unconventional voice feeds into her internal conflict, her hurt sense of self…and Cosmo’s love for her. 🫧 I did make Blonda too mean I think, sorry 🌊🐚🩷💚🪸🌊 #thefairlyoddparents #cosmoandwanda #coswan #littlemermaidau by @nymphtasmic
When The Fairly Oddparents made their own version of Cinderella, Cosmo got the titular role, and I fully support that decision. Still, I thought it’d be fun to see Wanda in Cindy’s look in some fanart. Wanda’s worn a dress or two with Cinderella sleeves, she like updos, and I will use any excuse to make something champagne-colored. Oh, and this is a pose redraw btw.
