“Life imitates art far more than art imitates life.” - Oscar WildeA decade ago, the first Hollywood movie I worked on was Star Wars: The Force Awakens in first year of University. During that time in my life, politics was not on my radar at all. I wanted to become an actress and was heartbroken that I gave it up but God had other plans that I could not ever comprehend.If someone had told me then that I wouldn’t go into acting but would take on the British state, whistleblow, make music, live in Palestine and stand against the Government in the General Elections 10 years later, I would’ve thought they were insane but a part of me would’ve believed itBecause God had already sent signs for me to decipher years later. 🤲🏽✨I’m far from perfect and full of flaws, I curse like a sailor and fight like a pirate, make every decision with my chest, until they put a bullet through it. If man finds resistance difficult, I pray God makes me His conduit. by @nyomikhan

28/03 3rd of the Daily doodle series. 7am on the way to Bristol on Saturday, I drew what was on my mind. Suffocating in self-doubt and duty, I needed to get out into the world to create my own. Midday, @ye ‘BULLY’ drops, and the video for ‘Father’ releases I was so gassed to see that my most recent pieces were already BULLY coded. Artistic souls are connected with a thread like a hair, they move and feel in unison, differing only in the forms of expression. ❤️💕New mega piece pending… by @nyomikhan

“the light in my heart of darkness” Oct. 2017 - A3 acrylic on paper.This piece was based on the verses I wrote below. I’ve stopped reflecting on life in words and art for a while - I hope through sharing, I continue the motivation.- "The greatest difficulty in life is to ask for help, not because I have to put aside my ego to seek aid, but because often I don't know with what I need help.You see when darkness consumes your soul, your heart and your mind, sometimes in that darkness is where you confide because light is foreign and Unknown. Light comes to me in the form of a torch, to guide me out of the abyss but I shun it away because nothing is permanent. What if I get used to the light and it burns out and fades? What if I fall in love with that light and in turn I am betrayed? But don't tell me that I am not brave, because in the darkness I choose to stay and a risk is what I'm not willing to take, only to be left alone in the wake of the reality that nothing is permanent. Darkness is the only reality I know, the only thing I trust, the only thing that has been and will be consistent. Darkness is my little secret, I shine to the World but inside I know that darkness is mine. So when I leave this World behind, I'll take the darkness with me and leave you with that light that was rightfully mine because I am not deserved. As I know too much and say too little and suppress all desires, thoughts and ideas and succumb to my to truth, for I am in love with the darkness." 📓 by @nyomikhan
