A special thank you to our industry panel speakers for sharing their insights and perspectives on the opportunities shaping the future of the games industry. Thank you also to Ngā Mātai Pūru for opening the event with a memorable kapa haka performance.

Last week, NZTE exhibited at MumbaiWood, India’s premier woodworking and furniture tradeshow, to showcase New Zealand’s high-quality radiata pine, alongside five companies: Niagara, Northpine, the New Zealand Timber Industry Federation (NZTIF), Pan Pac and the Wood Processors & Manufacturers Association.

Together with the Ministry of Primary Industries, we welcomed strong interest from Indian businesses keen to build new partnerships and explore opportunities ahead of the NZ-India FTA entering into force.

New Zealand exports to Thailand have grown 63% in five years, reaching $1.63 billion.

NZTE was proud to support the visit of His Excellency Anutin Charnvirakul, Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Thailand, marking 70 years of diplomatic relations and the launch of the New Zealand–Thailand Strategic Partnership.

The new Strategic Partnership includes an ambitious target to triple two-way trade by 2045.

Two commercial agreements announced during the visit are tangible examples of that ambition in action:

✅ NZAero is deepening its longstanding aviation partnership with Thailand, as the company restarts production of its CT-4 aircraft to meet growing global demand.

✅ Aeroqual is expanding its established partnership with Thailand-based Chata Instruments to improve access to local air-quality data and support healthier communities.

As a major manufacturing and supply-chain hub, Thailand offers Kiwi exporters a gateway to opportunities across the wider ASEAN market.

NZTE can help exporters understand the market, navigate local conditions and connect with the right partners. Link in bio to explore the Thailand Market Guide on myNZTE. by @nzte
