Restoration Day is THIS Saturday!

Join the Ascot Hills Park Green Team + @weexploreearth on October 10 for a morning of hands-on habitat restoration and community stewardship in OUR park!

This month, we have FOUR tasks to choose from. There’s something for everyone! 💚

Pollinator Garden Maintenance:
Watering, weeding, and clearing litter to keep our native plants healthy and thriving.

Invasive Species Removal:
Taking on Castor Bean and Prickly Lettuce to prevent their spread and make room for native plants.

Wildflower Seed Sowing:
Sowing Narrowleaf Milkweed (Asclepias fascicularis), Arroyo Lupine (Lupinus succulentus), and California Poppy (Eschscholzia californica) seeds ahead of the winter rains to bring new life and color to our hillsides come spring!

Native Seed Harvesting:
Collecting and spreading California Buckwheat (Eriogonum fasciculatum) and Telegraph Weed (Heterotheca grandiflora) seeds to support the natural regeneration of our hillsides.

Whether you’re a returning volunteer or joining us for the first time, come get your hands dirty, connect with our community, and help us restore OUR beautiful park!

📅 Saturday, October 10, 2026

⏰ 8:00–10:30 AM

📍 Ascot Hills Park
