With every edition, Originals Studio stays true to its name.

This year, it takes over a corner of Johannesburg, bringing every kind of creative together on one block. Each workshop is led by two hosts from different sides of the same craft, spanning film, fashion, design, and sport culture. Over the weekend, you’ll learn from them, create alongside them, and leave with something of your own.

Rabia Ghoor (@rabiaghoor) and Pamela Mtanga (@pamela_mtanga) come together for SIGNATURE MOVES, a workshop on building a creative identity that lasts, from the reason behind it to the reputation it leaves.

SIGNATURE MOVES starts from a simple question: in an industry where so many people can do what you do, what makes someone remember you?

Rabia begins with intention, drawing on her journey building Swiitch Beauty (@swiitchbeauty) to show how a clear “why” shapes every decision and gives people something to rally around, turning an audience into a community. Pam picks it up from the personal side, unpacking how she has moved across content, presenting, fashion and entertainment while building an identity that people recognise, online and off.

Together, they help you understand what you’re building, why it matters, and how to make it memorable.

Kabelo Kungwane (@kasiflavour10) and Alex Zono (@alexzono) come together for KIT CHECK, a workshop on local sports culture and what it takes to turn an idea into something real.

KIT CHECK starts from a simple idea: sport isn’t new, and neither is the culture born from it.

Kabelo and Alex begin with the provenance of local sport, what makes us, us, and how it shapes the way we move through our everyday lives.

From there, they turn to the business side of things. Having an idea is one thing, and bringing it to market is another. The session covers how to make, price and take your creativity into the real world, without losing the spark and joy that drew you to sport in the first place.

Kick off for KIT CHECK is Saturday, 7th November.

Sonia Tona (@soniatona_) and Zéshaan Haku (@haku.co.za) come together for a one-of-a-kind workshop, weaving together their backgrounds in design, upcycling, sustainability, DIY and streetwear culture.

BUILD YOUR ORIGINAL is about finding, shaping and owning your style in a world built to sell you someone else’s.

Working with second-hand, thrifted pieces and off-cuts, Sonia and Zéshaan take you through hand-painted prints, bleaching, stitching and layering, showing you how to customise and personalise your own Three Stripes items. Through these slower, more intentional ways of making, what you create carries your signature and is unmistakably original.

Film directors Meghan Daniels (@meghan.daniels) and Hallie Haller (@_sixthsensei) come together for DOUBLE TAKE, a hands-on filmmaking workshop about finding your creative voice - taking you from idea to treatment to final film, like a real production.

This workshop is about finding your style and bringing your own voice to film. It explores creativity under constraint, showing how something meaningful can be made with the most limited tools. Stripping it back to the essentials shows how far one idea can stretch, and how your perspective is what makes the film yours.

O Studio is back. 
adidas Originals returns for the fifth instalment of O Studio, this time in collaboration with Studio 88, powered by the adistar XLG and Control 5. 
From 6–8 November 2026, Johannesburg becomes our playground for a weekend of creative workshops, community and expression. 
And there’s more. For the first time in O Studio history, we’re opening up a Pop-Up experience across the weekend, bringing together retail, social and the O Studio experience in one space.

You’ve got references nobody else has. Places you grew up, things you have experienced, overhead, tasted, felt, the stuff you’re into and the stuff you’re not. Anybody can learn a technique, but your point of view is your superpower.
