I found this old and dirty canvas just sitting in my room and I decided to paint over it and make something. The first thing that came to mind was "Admiration, Nigeria, Black&Beautiful " so I decided to just create freely from those words. I am glad that I didn't throw it away and decided to put it to use. 🙂‍↔️ .. .. #art #blackart #painting taken in Atlanta, Georgia by @obasiart

First Galley exhibition titled "Universal Pains" 🎭which consisted of bronze casts and mixed media. P.S I also built the frames and mounting for it. Overall, this was a bittersweet experience because I was happy that it was my first show but also my last experience with my sculpture crew. I'm excited to expound on this collection in the future in order to showcase in different galleries. taken in Atlanta, Georgia by @obasiart

This piece was all about light and reflections💡. Exploring light snd refractions within the vessel but ultimately the "light or spirit" within you which reflects on the outside... in the same way "let your light shine on to others". Also, thank you @decaturglassblowing and @emilyallisbaker for helping this come to life! :) . . . #casting #glasssculpture #glassblowing #metalcasting #weldingart #sculpture taken in Edgewood Sculpture Building at GSU by @obasiart
