Creating objects for those collecting curiosities. by @objects.oddity

Oddity was built somewhere between impromptu travel plans, badly timed beers, moving art around in silence, standing on unstable chairs for “the shot”, collecting strange textures while travelling, and sending each other objects at ungodly hours with messages like: “this feels very Oddity.”

Somewhere along the way, our odd little brains started building an even odder little world.

Hello to everyone who asked “Is this a painting?”

We wanted to start with something we were well aware of and comfortable with. The contrast that the materials bring with its varieties is what made veneer inlay an interesting choice .

This collection, #EchoesOnWood envisions handcrafted veneer inlay through a contemporary lens, transforming it into a medium of abstraction by @objects.oddity
