There’s a lot happening in this dining room, and I love that none of it comes from the walls. The floor, ceiling, furniture, and lighting all have their own details, and keeping the walls simple gave us the freedom to experiment with everything else. We wanted the dining area at #HomeWhereStoriesUnfold to be quite dramatic, but interestingly, we kept the walls completely plain. Instead, we played with everything else, from the flooring and ceiling to the dining table and chandelier, making each element a feature in itself. Introducing @objects.oddity because not everything needs to be functional. Sometimes you just need to make strange little things that make you happy! What started as two people casually playing around with materials and ideas somehow turned into a collection of objects and artworks. A little odd, a little sculptural, slightly unnecessary - exactly the point. 🤎 #OddityObjects #artworkoftheday #CollectibleObjects #DesignExperiment #FunctionalIsOverrated
