Thank you for opening up yourself and your story to me, and letting me shape those moments into poetry.

Creating this with you brought me back to a childlike spirit, and it was such a joy making this together.

It was an honor to start this shoot on my birthday / Mother’s Day with your family, and to now release it on yours.

I was a kid watching @pharrell pull ideas out of thin air, making music with his hands. Creating brands, skate teams, anything he touched. I told myself, one day I’m going to do that. Twenty years later, here I am. Making objects. It started with a hat. Now I’m making anything I want, one object at a time.

So Boom! Five years ago, a bet on myself changed everything. Today that bet is still standing.

A beautiful gesture turned into something real. Meaningful things. What started with the “Buy More Flowers!” hat has now turned into real flowers.

None of this happens without you. The people who wore it, shared it, showed up for it. You’re the reason we’re here.

July 19th we’re celebrating all of it, and it’s my birthday! In Brooklyn, with all my loved ones!

Spent Father’s Day giving out flowers to the dope dads in Harlem.

Not gonna lie, I’m shy. Walking up to strangers to hand them flowers had me nervous all day.

Walked up to a dude cooking out in Morningside. Soon as he saw me walking up, bouquets in hand, he said “those for me!?” with a big smile on his face. It was all love! Got to gift him and his dad flowers together.

Handed them out all day. Said thank you and meant it every time.

I don’t have a relationship with my own pops. Haven’t spoken to him in a minute.

Today was for the version of me that needed to see what showing up actually looks like. Definitely one of the dopest moments of my life.

Working with @ceibavalleyfarm Farms over the last few months changed the way I look at flowers.

We talked through the process from seed to bouquet, and I learned how much intention goes into every step. Growing, harvesting, transporting, cold storage… it all takes time.

It made me appreciate flowers even more.

This week we’re sharing our first official Flowers by OBJECTS drop, available exclusively at @barbarasflowers in Harlem.

Been sitting with Sunday for a couple days.

We celebrated 5 years of Objects and I got to celebrate another trip around the sun. BIG 43

Looking around the room and seeing friends, extended family, and people who’ve been rocking with me over the years... that was enough for me.

It never felt like a pop up. It felt like people coming together. Flowers, conversations, birthday cakes, kids playing, people leaving with something to remember the day by. Mad love!

Thank you to everyone who spent part of their Sunday with me. Whether you’ve been here since day one or just found Objects, thank you for being part of the story.

Here’s to the next chapter. 💐✨🫂

When Uniqlo launched their UTme! program I was in that store every day printing samples. I needed to feel the shirt in my hands.

Every time I walked in they told me I had nice designs. One day I walked in with the audacity to ask for a contact to someone in corporate.

That one question opened the door to a full collab. 7 designs. In-store at SoHo, 5th Ave, and Disney.

Shoot your shot every time.

Every time I work on a playlist it takes a while, because I’m living the musical moments out first. Each song is a moment in time, proof that we are alive. Biking to Bedstuy while the sun sets. Walks over the bridge. Sitting in the park playing chess. Being present, most of all. Both feet planted into the ground like a flower, connected to its roots. I wanna love, live, and be.

Birthday’s this Sunday. This one holds the last 5 months.

5 years of Objects. Some of the things I’ve made

We’re walking art pieces. We take our love, our pain, our lessons, and we turn it into something. Every step a brushstroke, every emotion a color.

The hats, the flowers, the collabs, the billboard. Made by hand, made because I had to.

I could’ve done anything with my life. I made this.
