A tattoo scene on Mother’s Day, which also happened to be my birthday. They even surprised me with flowers. Grateful to do what I love and connect with beautiful people like them, inside and out.

Reflective:
🥀Some flowers arrive after the damage is done. Discipline would’ve cost less than regret.

Poetic:
🥀Lust is loud. Love is quiet. I listened to the wrong voice.

Honest:
🥀I confused temptation with freedom and ended up losing someone worth keeping.

Short & impactful:
🥀The apology was real. So was the lesson.

Deep:
🥀A lack of discipline can destroy what years of love built.

Clever:
🥀The flowers weren’t the hardest part. Becoming the man who should’ve never needed to buy them was.

Minimal:
🥀Regret blooms where discipline dies.

Raw:
🥀I let a temporary feeling make a permanent wound.

Growth-focused:
🥀Some lessons don’t come with lectures. They come with empty seats, unanswered calls, and flowers in your hand.

One-liner:
🥀I traded peace for pleasure. Worst deal I ever made.

Poetic ending:
🥀Holding flowers, wishing I’d held my principles just as tightly.

Every time I work on a playlist it takes a while, because I’m living the musical moments out first. Each song is a moment in time, proof that we are alive. Biking to Bedstuy while the sun sets. Walks over the bridge. Sitting in the park playing chess. Being present, most of all. Both feet planted into the ground like a flower, connected to its roots. I wanna love, live, and be.

Birthday’s this Sunday. This one holds the last 5 months.
