We can’t wait for our BBQ this Saturday so we made a quick tutorial on how to make one of our favorite dishes, crying tiger steak!!Step one: Season the steakUse garlic, black pepper, salt, msg, veggie oil, onion powder, soy sauce, oyster sauce (sugar if you don’t have it), and then mix.Step two: make the sauceUse Thai chili peppers, garlic, msg, melted palm sugar, fish sauce, fermented fish sauce, tamarind paste, 1 lime, 1 shallot, green onions, cilantro, and toasted rice powder!Step three: make the sidesSimply cut up some cabbage and cucumbers as you like :)Step four: cook the steakWe decided to grill our steak to prepare for our BBQ. Cook to your desired temp, we did medium rare. Cut into strips, and then place on plate with sauce and sides.Step five: YOU EAT!!!We look forward to seeing you guys this Saturday!!! by @objectsindinner

we changed things up this year and we wanted to explain why: as we continue to grow, the work that’s needed to make this all happen grows as well. From getting the proper tools and equipment, to all the prep and travel, and getting small things that no one thinks about, like the coals, napkins, paper plates, etc. There’s a lot of expenses that go into making this work and we didn’t want to inflate the costs of the food. Next Saturday July 25th is our Annual BBQ, with @noisycompany We got @baejawn @mybrotherkhalil & @magglezzz djing 🥹 Me & @brian.temsamrit running it like the military. @y1z.fat head of the grill! We’re limited on tickets, so it’s best to get them now before we sell out! $15 early bird online & $20 at the door, if we have space available! A big thank you to everyone who was apart of organizing and who came out to @objectsindinner : Dinner Very Special! Lao and Thai food is something very sacred to me and having the opportunity to be able to share that to a sold out event was insane! I’m lil self conscious about cooking for other people because I just want to make sure people enjoy the meal, but base off all the cleaned-up plates that was not an issue 😈 eat it off the bone. We hope to see you next time, come hungry! by @objectsindinner

damn… thank you to everyone who came out to dinner. this one felt really special. Definitely one of the most packed, full-course services we’ve done.huge thank you to @brian.temsamrit and @gnightloveyou for stepping in and building this with me. i’ve been carrying a lot of these events on my own, and having them there made all the difference. truly my dream team — from prep to service!and to our friends who jumped in to run food, serve, bus, and clean… i couldn’t have asked for better people around me. it meant everything.shoutout to @saeedferguson for capturing the night, @eileenjawn on graphic design, @y1z.fat on the grill, @extramediumlatte on beef sticks, massi and @mybrotherkhalil holding us down as support, and @wandering__fig & @pearl_omkara for serving all three rounds seriously, couldn’t have done this without you all.happy tlc new year 🤍 we were able to gift special bracelets blessed by local monks at the temple to our dinner guests. we hope the experience and dinner felt good to you, and that you’ll join us again for another special night. it meant so much to see so many new faces at objects in dinner. by @objectsindinner
