POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

Some of you may have already heard the heartbreaking news that Michele, a long-time member of our O’Brien’s Pub family, has passed away after a long fight with a rare form of dementia.

Michele was a bright light at O’Brien’s for over 15 years. All 5 feet of her was pure sweetness. She was a pillar of our pub, a mom to so many, and the warm, smiling face that greeted you the second you walked through the door. Michele played such a huge part in making O’Brien’s feel like home to so many of us, creating a space that so many truly consider family.

We will miss her dearly, but her light and warmth will always be a part of this place.

To honor Michele, we are holding a Celebration of Life next Sunday, October 25th.

We invite everyone to come together, raise a pint or two in her honor, and share your favorite stories and photos as we remember such a lovely human being.

She was so deeply loved and will be missed always.

Love,
Your O’Brien’s Pub Family

For HOMEBREW SUMMER, San Diego’s foremost wet-hop beer brewer, Tom Nickel, is sharing a recipe for a Nickel Beer Co. double IPA of that ilk as a tribute to his late father, who was a big fan of that annual fresh-hop creation. Click the link in our bio (www.sandiegobeer.news) to learn about Tom’s dearly beloved dad and download the recipe for Green Truck.
