2 years!!! Come celebrate with us starting this Friday for the Excelsior Night Market. We’ll be open until 8pm

Last month we did a chicken teriyaki sandwich to honor Deli World and the previous owners of the space.

This time we’ll do something different to help celebrate Latino Heritage Month.

Starting next Tuesday we’ll be closed for a week until the following Wednesday for a very important event.

As a small business it’s hard to close for even one day let alone six. That says how important this trip will mean to me and I’ve been very excited for it.

You can still catch us tomorrow, Tuesday until Saturday 10a - 4pm

Ocean Subs on Ocean Avenue, owned by Lee Opelinia ’95, is a family run San Francisco business. A Filipino-American chef and Riordan alumnus, Opelinia has gone from Michelin-starred kitchens to the experimental dining rooms of Provence. Ocean Subs is more than just a place to grab a sandwich; it’s a display of Chef Lee Opelinia’s journey and passion for food and community.

Beyond grateful to @infatuation_sf ,everyone that’s helped me make @ocean_subs possible and every guest that’s come through the doors and shown love and support.

A lot of physical and mental stress owning a business but it’s been the most rewarding and fulfilling jobs I’ve ever had. Lists or awards never crossed my mind but it feels good to be recognized for all the hard work and long hours. I’m going to slow down and appreciate this special moment.
