Congratulations to @oclax midfielder @bruce_hunt3 on his commitment to @maritime_bucs !

Bruce is a physically strong, tough two-way midfielder who plays with a direct and assertive style. Fundamentally sound and technically sharp, he brings a physical presence and competitive edge every time he steps on the field. His ability to defend, communicate, win plays between the lines, and create opportunities in transition makes him an extremely valuable piece on both ends of the field.

Congratulations to Bruce and his family, and thank you to Coach Smith and the entire Maritime staff for this opportunity! taken in New Jersey by @oclax

Wingate 31'

I am beyond excited and honored to announce my commitment to play Division 2 lacrosse at Wingate

First, I want to thank my family for their constant support, countless sacrifice, and endless love.

I want to thank Coach latorre, Coach Ladd, Coach Inserra, Coach Earl and the rest of the Ocean City staff, as well as my teammates for constantly pushing me to my maximum potential. Also, a special thank you to Coach Wolfeld for everything you have done for me.

I want to thank my coaches and teammates at Shamrocks. Thank you Coach Keane, Coach Gaylord, Coach Yurick, and Coach Cipriani for giving me the opportunity to play for Shamrocks. Thank you for all of your guidance and support throughout this process.

I want to thank Coach Boyle, Coach Moore, and the rest of the staff at Wingate for this incredible opportunity!

Some coaches teach the game. The very best teach the people playing it.

Congratulations to Coach Joe LaTorre of Ocean City High School on being named the USA Lacrosse South Jersey 2026 Coach of the Year! 🥍

Anyone who has spent even a few minutes around Coach LaTorre knows this honor isn’t just about wins, game plans, or championships. It’s about the way he invests in his players, believes in them before they believe in themselves, and somehow finds the perfect balance of pushing them to be better while making them feel like they belong.

He’s the kind of coach every parent hopes their child gets to play for, and every player remembers long after the final whistle.

Presented by USA Lacrosse, this prestigious award recognizes high school head coaches who exemplify the ideals of the game through outstanding leadership, sportsmanship, and meaningful contributions to their players, program, and the sport of lacrosse.

Congratulations, Coach. South Jersey & OCHS are lucky to have you! by @oclax
