Made it to Ozone Games this year......to support @helvin.vanp !!! Felt FOMO not being able to hang or play on the obstacles this time but it's okay, i have to focus on bringing my body to tip top shape first 👵

Amazing to see @allezdyaa and @kapo_lam412 , the first few people I met coming into OCR comps in Subang in 2023, getting so much stronger over these 2 years. 🤩🤩 WELL DONE LADIES!!!

Crazy thing happened. I got 🥈in my first Laser Run (a discipline under Modern Pentathlon). Running was never my strong suit and I have only shot a laser gun once in my life (and sucked at it) so, you can imagine how horrible I felt walking into the arena. I was so nervous that I couldn't breathe. 🤮

As soon as I went to the starting line, everything around me blurred out and my mind was set on my goal...GIVE IT MY ALL. I hit all the targets within the 50 second slot! Tried not to die while running. The result was better than I ever imagined 🥹

Made my first jersey exchange with Team 🇮🇩, whee!!! All my big thank yous to
@wisacompany for the cool jersey and meeting our requests so last minute 💛
@bara.bn for all your support to the 🇧🇳 OCR team
@ypatera for being mama of the team, helping us with booking arrangements so we can focus on training
@obstacleswithraf for being the calm to our (or my mental) storm
THE TEAM - for bringing so many diverse personalities and energy to the group that I never stay complacent 🤪

Keeping this here as a reminder to work hard. I have not done any proper obstacles since July, and I feel the pain. 😭

Juggling a full-time job with athletics is HARD, but momma didn't raise a quitter. So, back to the grind we go. by @ocrmay

2024 has been full of ups and downs, definitely no short of struggles. I'm finally coming into terms with the ageing effect on my body, I can't confidently shout at people, "Age is just a number!" anymore. Maybe it is, to an extent...until my body says, "Say what now?"

Celebrating some of the highs of 2024:
⭐️ hitting my first lache in Jan
⭐️ being the only one of 2 females to join a ninja comp in Labuan, and didn't do too bad at it
⭐️ learning to love running again
⭐️ getting my first podium 🥉 at Asia Obstacle Course, and winning ,🥇at speed climbing a week later.

And for those humbling moments:
🌊 celebrating my #1 spot at Mini alpha challenge and getting immediately knocked off by @xonadiah
just minutes later! 🤣
🌊 persisting shoulder injuries throughout the year...grr!!

Just a reminder now that I am in my late late 30s, training is supposed to look different. Be patient, be kind 💛 by @ocrmay
