A little recap of last night at Orange County School of the Arts 🤎✨

We had such an amazing time being part of OCSA’s beautiful evening, serving our specialty lattes for a special Mexican-inspired dinner. Getting to return to the school as an alum and share a little piece of The Brunch Cup with the OCSA community made the night even more meaningful.

Thank you, OCSA, for having us and for continuing to support your alumni. We’re so grateful to have been part of it! ☕️❤️

Erin Tardibuono (MT) is playing Wendla in Santa Ana College’s upcoming production of Spring Awakening.

As part of the production, Erin and her castmates recently participated in a master class and Q&A with fellow OCSA Musical Theatre Conservatory alumna Krysta Rodriguez, who was a member of the original Broadway cast of Spring Awakening and later played Ilse in the acclaimed Deaf West Broadway revival.

It was a special opportunity for Erin to connect with and learn from a fellow OCSA alumna who has been part of the same musical she is now performing in. See the show this weekend at Santa Ana College!

What a night!!! @ocsamt brought 9 conservatories together for their annual Lip Sync Battle FUNdraiser!

This year featured an alumni studded judging panel, shout out Scott Barnhardt and Lauren Lim Jackson! Plus the OG Lip Sync leader, former MT conservatory director Jeff Paul! Add in Broadway’s Jared Gertner and our favorite junior judges Nica and Auggie who had us all on the edge of seats with their adorable (and insightful) commentary!

Hosts Ryan Miller and Amelia Barron took us through the last 4 decades of OCSA and all the groups brought the choreo!!

Congratulations to all who participated and shout out to Dean Abbe Levine who performed a solo wild card lip sync to Dancing Queen! (Full video available to anyone who attends Alumni Day!)

Well done MT for blowing the roof off of Symphony Hall, literally - 95 decibels! by @ocsaalumni

Nathan Levy (MT) was named one of Variety’s annual 10 Broadway Stars to Watch for 2026-2027. These actors, composers, librettists, and playwrights — working on shows including “Purple Rain,” “Warriors,” “Spring Awakening,” “10 Things I Hate About You” and “Wanted” — represent the future of theater.

This fall, Levy will originate Lewis in the Broadway debut of “The Fantasticks,” more than 65 years after the musical premiered Off Broadway. The new production reimagines the central romance as a queer love story, turning Luisa — a role traditionally played by a soprano — into Lewis. For Levy, that gender-bend allows him the freedom to explore the character separately from those who’ve come before him. “It’s essentially a new role, so I can just sort of approach it as that,” he says. “It could be super intimidating to go down the rabbit hole and see all the great women, all the great sopranos, that have come before me. But it’s nice and refreshing to know that we’re switching it up.”
