Oda Kirkebø Nyfløtt er en skuespiller og scenekunstner fra Førde, bosatt i Oslo, og utdannet ved Ècole Jacques Lecoq i Paris. Hun er medgrunnlegger av det internasjonale scenekunstkollektivet the Krumple, og har siden 2013 vært medkunstnerisk leder av kompaniet. Med the Krumple har hun skapt en rekke kritikerroste forestillinger som har turnert omfattende i Norge og i utlandet, blant annet den prisbelønte forestillingen YOKAI - remedy for despair (2016) og DÉJÀ - a gentle sadness of things (2019). Ved siden av prosjektene med the Krumple har hun jobbet som skuespiller ved Teater Vestland og Brageteatret, og jobbet frilans med flere norske regissører. Hun har mottatt en rekke stipender, som blant annet Statens kunstnerstipend for yngre, nyetablerte skuespillere i 2016-2017 og 2019, og arbeidsstipend for 2023-2024. I sitt skapende virke ønsker Oda å gi rom for undring, fortryllelse og – forhåpentligvis – lindring, til alt som kan føles overveldende, kaotisk eller håpløst.

TAKK, sola og fjorden, for eit så passande skue til forrige vekes vidare arbeid på manuset med tittelen LJOS PÅ — ei slags skapingssoge om å skape seg sjølv på nytt, eller om å rekonstruere eit øydelagd sjølvbilete etter eit barndomstraume.

I utvikling saman med @thekrumple, støtta av @kulturradet (Forprosjekt), @osloteatersenter (Scenekunst+) og @talentnorge gjennom @artexprogram, samt med uvurderleg hjelp frå gode støttespelarar: @margretholin @katrinesele @randi.ki og Emily Read. 🙏

THANK YOU, sun and fjord, for such a fitting view during last week’s continued work on the script titled LIGHTS ON — a creation myth-like tale about recreating identity, or about reconstructing a broken self image, after a childhood trauma.

Working internationally with environmental responsibility for @wildtopia.dk, a.o. means 'making travel worthwhile'.
For the upcoming trip to New York, the guiding question has been:

How can we use this journey in ways that also benefit others?

This time, the answer includes collaborating with two extraordinary Nordic artists with powerful artistic and cultural relevance to strengthen their international presence and open new opportunities during the days in New York (7–16 January 2026) - and beyond.

I’m really happy to be collaborating 1:1 with two Nordic artists/companies with exceptional potential for global impact to amplify their international opportunities and networks during our trip to New York. Please note that the “furiously beautiful and in-your-face experience” LOL – Laughing Out Lonely by OPE-N will be playing at @tapestryopera in Toronto, Canada, on 16–17 January 2026, residency at company Chants Libre in Montreal 8-13 February 2026 at Mois Multi Festival on 14–15 February 2026. It will also be performed at @summerhallery , @edfringe 18–30 August 2026.

Some photos from the event I AM UNDONE at Pachinko in Oslo, early June.

This was my first meeting with an audience sharing a material that is particularly close to my heart. A text in the making about creation, about seeking to change a narrative, and about the power of unconditional love.

I found it peculiar how scary it suddenly was to perform, when theatre has been my living for twelve years now.

However as a first time solo (though, luckily, generously accompanied by my dear Vincent on that harmonium) and as a first time playwright (though, I have previously CO-written plays with my company), and, maybe most importantly, for the first time with a story inspired by my own personal experience of sexual assault in childhood, (…) — this felt like a quite gigantic leap into something… new.

Thank you @li.li.re and @i_am_undone for the opportunity, thank you @osloteatersenter for supporting the project, and thank you to those who came and witnessed this, for your very valuable presence that night.
