A few weeks ago we took on a pretty major project! We wrapped 130 trees in fabric for a 1-Day fest! We put a call out on @the.oddest and so many of you responded! 11 amazing individuals had the opportunity to be part of the installation! Without you this would not have been possible! Special thanks to the install team for making this happen and to @downtowngrinc for creating opportunities for creatives! No trees were harmed in the process and all fabric will be reused.

A couple weeks ago I had the opportunity to do 2 installations for Re(Turn) To The River Fest. I made two dozen concrete stones and with a small team we also wrapped 130 trees with fabric! Special thanks to @powermanatee , @megancatcho & @downtowngrinc for entrusting me with the fabrication and installation of these two crazy projects. The install team for knocking out the tree wrap installation out of the park, and the homie @jose_jstowing for transporting approx. 6000 lbs of concrete balls to and from, safely! PS, stop by the @vanandelarenagr this Thursday afternoon to see these in person! About a dozen will be on display for just 1 day! by @odd_studios

Morning frost & autumn sun! ✨ Taken yesterday just before de-install. Thank you @artprize for the opportunity to bring The HPBC Project from concept to a real life thing! This work wouldn’t have happened without their support and platform! Thanks especially to the best install/de-install team in the city, maybe the state for your help in successfully swapping out rims and backboards! @powermanatee , @gump.w , @jollycrickets , @_edgarh_ .

The Heartside Park Basketball Court Project 🖤. Hopefully the first of many more to come. So many parks around us need repair. Specifically courts. Odd Studios is here to fill that gap. To bring art and experiences to the world through activations and installations of public spaces and beyond. Leaving behind something that improves the quality of life and benefits a community. Even if it means having to do dirty laborious work in the process. There is beauty in fixing something broken. That itself, is art. 👷🏽🛠👷🏻‍♀️. Where there’s a will there’s a way! Spread the word. *Actively looking for the next space to transform!

These aerial shots and edit from yesterday!!! 🔥🤯 Thank you @dogtownstudio! The court is still a work in progress and its not 100% finished. This is a PROJECT and the work won’t stop even when the court is finished. We’re committed to building a community around this space! Thank you to everyone that came out yesterday! Lets do it again today! by @odd_studios

Come break in the court and catch a vibe tonight from 5p-8p to officially activate this installation and complete restoration of the Heartside Park Basketball Court! Get some buckets, lounge, dance, relax, take pics, bring a ball, donate a ball, and interact with the art or whatever. See you there. by @odd_studios
