Stepping into June with gratitude for one of the defining highlights of my May.

A few months ago, I would have hesitated at an opportunity like this. From the preparation behind the scenes, to the moments of uncertainty and self-doubt, God kept reminding me to trust Him, and He took perfect control.

It was a great privilege to serve as the Master of Ceremonies at the Civic Reception held in honour of Professor Fatiu Abiola Arogundade on his appointment as the Pioneer Vice Chancellor of FUMMSA.

I am deeply grateful for the opportunity to stand in a room with some of the distinguished names in Nigerian medicine, including:

• Professor B. L. Salako — Chairman
• Emeritus Professor A. Akinsola — Special Guest of Honour
• Professor Gregory E. Erhabor — Guest Speaker
• Professor Fatiu Abiola Arogundade — Honouree

A sincere thank you to everyone who contributed to making the event a success.

A thousand-mile journey began with a single step.

Long before the stages, the microphones, the medical school journey, and the opportunities to speak, there was just a little boy learning memory verses and finding his voice.

Looking back, I can see that none of it happened overnight. Every step was preparing me for the next.

And there’s still so much ahead.

Milestones are earned, not rushed.

Keep becoming. 🌿

My style might change, but the One I follow stays the same. Beyond the denim, it’s all about Him. 🙌🏾

Today, Blood Oasis turns 2.

I can only look back and think to myself, what if i and my team never did this? What if we had said “let’s focus on why we are in school” ? I can’t imagine.

Connecting the dots backwards and i am convinced everyday that i am made for this.

We’ve had our losses, our rejections, our flops, but we also have our wins and we keep pushing forward.

Thankful to everyone who made our journey an unforgettable one. We love you and look forward to an amazing rest of the year. by @oderinde.gideon

Demons don’t respect your tears or your theology. They only respect FIRE. 🔥🛑⚔️

Welcome to Day 9 of our Fire on my Altar fast, Spirit and Truth Family!
You can have the right jurisdiction, the right heart, and a perfectly built altar, but if there is no fire, you just have a religious monument. In the biblical cosmos, Fire (‘Esh) is the visible, tangible manifestation of God’s authority and endorsement!
In Leviticus 6:13, God commanded that the fire on the altar must NEVER go out. This is the Tamid (the perpetual burn). But here is the kingdom secret: God provided the initial fire from Heaven, but the priest had to wake up every morning to provide the WOOD (‘Ets). 🪵🔥
God gives the Fire, but man must provide the Fuel! You cannot manufacture the fire of the Holy Ghost, but if you do not supply the wood of the Word, daily fasting, and agonizing prayer, the fire will die. Furthermore, fire NEVER falls on an empty altar. You must place your flesh on the altar as a living sacrifice!

🔥 Swipe left or click the link in my bio to read today’s heavy Day 9 teaching: Fire on the Altar!
Are you gathering your wood today? Drop a “🪵🔥” in the comments if you are laying fresh fuel on your altar! 👇🏽

Every part of creation tells a story…
but the most beautiful one is that Jesus chose us.

He stayed.
He sacrificed.
He rose again.

Creation declares His glory…
but the Cross declares His love.

And among all He made…
you are the one He loves.

Happy Easter 🤍

Is there really a best part to having period?
let us know in the comment section.

On this segment, we interviewed women around on their interesting experiences.
It was engaging, insightful, and funny.

Do you think period should have alarm clocks before it starts?

Well, what can I say about Gideon, let’s just say he is someone God has sent specially to help men, and I am not joking at all, I have literally seen Gideon carry other people’s assignment and burden on his shoulders and made sure it was perfectly executed, honestly I can go on and on, to describe him, but one thing is this, I think every CMUL student needs a Gideon in their lives, with all the shege we are passing through, is it the constant check up and always smiling, that’s another thing that baffles me, hardly will you see him frowning, he is always ready to help and make sure you are not down for a second at all, I know for sure that this new year will not pass you by in Jesus name, this year marks the beginning of the fulfillment of God’s plan over your life and you are no longer confused, Happy birthday brother, friend 🙏 @oderinde.gideon
