🇩🇪 Salade Niçoise Kein Urlaub, in dem ich nicht die örtlichen Märkte, Supermärkte und Spezialitätenläden leerkaufe. Gut, dass der Wohnwagen und die Kühlbox reichlich Platz bieten! Nachdem ich der Tochter aus dem Supermarkt ein Foto des Chips-Regals geschickt hatte, mit der Frage, welche Sorten sie möchte, war die Antwort: Alle! Na klar, blöde Frage! 🤦🏻‍♀️ So sind wir also u.a. mit 16 Tüten Chips im Gepäck, alles unterschiedliche Sorten ein und desselben Herstellers, wieder nach Hause gefahren. 😅 Tomaten, Knoblauch, konfierte Geflügelleber und -mägen, Tarte-Teige, Oliven und Olivenöl und, und, und. Die Liste lässt sich ziemlich lange fortsetzen. Und kaum bin ich wieder zu Hause, ist die Sehnsucht nach Frankreich und französischem Essen wieder groß. Deswegen gab’s gestern einen französischen Abend für Freunde mit einem sommerlichen Klassiker in der Hauptrolle. It’s a good thing the caravan and the cooler offer plenty of space! After I sent my daughter a photo of the chip shelf from the supermarket and asked her which varieties she wanted, the answer was: All of them! Of course, stupid question! 🤦🏻‍♀️ So we returned home with, among other things, 16 bags of chips in our luggage, all different varieties from the same manufacturer. 😅 And as soon as I get home, the longing for France and French food is strong again. So yesterday we had a French evening for friends, starring a summer classic. 🇩🇪 Sauerkraut-Rouladen mit Paprika Winterzeit, Rouladenzeit! Die muss es bei uns einmal im Jahr geben! Nichts gegen den Kindheitsklassiker mit Speck und saurer Gurke, aber wir lieben diese Variante hier mit Sauerkraut und Paprika. Super saftig und schön würzig; mit einer Sauce, die förmlich darum bettelt, mit Kartoffeln gequetscht zu werden. 😋 Habt Ihr eine Variante, die Ihr besonders gerne mögt? Nothing against the childhood classic with bacon and pickled cucumber, but we love this version with sauerkraut and peppers. Super juicy and beautifully flavorful; with a sauce that practically begs to be squashed with potatoes. 😋 Do you have a version that you particularly like? 🇩🇪 Dubai Dessert Könnt Ihr das Wort „Dubai“ noch hören, ohne dass sich Euch die Fußnägel aufrollen? 🤭 Ich hätte da was im Angebot, das das Beste aus aller (Dessert)Welt vereint. Dubai Schokolade trifft auf Tiramisu und No-Bake-Cheesecake. 🇩🇪 Eier im Glas Braucht man dafür ein Rezept? Ja, meins! 😊 Manchmal können Fragen sehr einfach beantwortet werden. 😄 Eier im Glas begleiten meine Familie und mich schon sehr lange zum Frühstück. Nicht super oft, aber immer wieder und immer begleitet von wohligen Seufzern. Und manchmal braucht es ja nur eine kleine Anregung, um beim Frühstück mal was anders zu machen. 🇩🇪 Gebackener Blumenkohl mit Pimientos de Padrón Lust auf einen kulinarischen Ausflug nach Spanien? Dann komm mit! Im Gepäck: Neben Blumenkohl und den Pimientos haben wir viiieeel Knoblauch (immer gut), geröstete Mandeln, Sherry und Kakaonibs! Yay! Nachdem der Frühling mal wieder wie der Dezember daherkommt - nur grüner - und der Sommer noch auf sich warten lässt, holen wir uns eben all das auf den Teller! Jawoll! Denn ich glaube, ausgehungert nach Sonne, blauem Himmel und leichter Bekleidung sind wir doch alle? Also dann: Heizung aufdrehen, Sommerkleid/Shorts und Flipflops anziehen und dieses zufällig vegane Gericht (auch das noch! 🥳) auf den Tisch bringen! 🇩🇪 Grünkohl-Kartoffel-Curry mit Senf-Spiegelei Dieses Gericht gab‘s vor ein paar Tagen zum Abendessen und das Bild in meiner Story führte zu diversen Nachfragen. Freut mich riesig, dass dieses Curry - enstanden aus “der Grünkohl muss weg, bevor der Sommer kommt” - auf so ein großes Interesses gestoßen ist und ja, spontan kann ich! 😆 Das ist doch DIE Gelegenheit, meine schon wieder länger währende Sendepause zu beenden. 🇩🇪 Rosenkohlpfanne mit Hähnchenbrust und Maronen Team Rosenkohl yay or nay? Dieses - meiner Meinung nach - fabelhafte Wintergemüse spaltet die Menschheit wahrscheinlich ähnlich wie Rosinen. Die ich übrigens auch mag. 😄 Und für alle die, die Rosenkohl nur als muffige und totgekochte Beilage von Oma kennen, habe ich hier mal was vorbereitet: Kurz gegart, mit zarten Hähnchenbruststreifen, Schalotten und Maronen; abgeschmeckt mit Honig und Rosmarin. Na, wie klingt das? Rosenkohl stammt übrigens aus Belgien und ist somit sowas wie ein Schwippschwager von Chicorée, was @food.style.affairs sicher freuen wird! Deswegen heißt er nämlich im Englischen auch “Brussels sprouts” und im Französischen “Choux des Bruxelles”. 🤓 Unsere österreichischen Freunde nennen ihn laut Recherche “Kohlsprossen” oder “Sprossenkohl” - korrigiert mich, wenn ich da falsch liege, @myclaud.kitchenstories und @ein.nudelsieb.bloggt - und das ist ein bisschen so, als würden wir außer “Rosenkohl” noch “Kohlrosen” sagen. 😂 Wie auch immer ihr dieses Gemüse nennt, es kann richtig lecker sein, ich schwöre! ✌🏻 Das Rezept findet Ihr jedenfalls jetzt neu im Blog. 🇩🇪 Kartoffelsuppe mit Knoblauch-Champignons Nach einer Woche Krankheit und Instagram-Auszeit melde ich mich zurück! 🥳🙃 Bei der Genesung hat nicht nur diese leckere Kartoffelsuppe mit Knoblauch geschwängerten Champignons geholfen, sondern auch eine große Portion Achtsamkeit, mit der ich mich ja nun schon seit einigen Wochen beschäftige. Vielleicht hast Du ja meinen letzten Blogpost gelesen. Ich versuche darauf zu achten, was ich - mein Geist, meine Seele und mein Körper - gerade wirklich brauche! Klingt esoterisch? Ist es wahrscheinlich auch! 😂 Aber Ablenkung und Stress zu reduzieren hilft mir gerade sehr, isso. Nicht immer so einfach, aber geht dann doch überraschend gut. It probably is! 😂 But reducing distraction and stress is helping me a lot right now, true. Not always that easy, but it works surprisingly well. Let's see where this journey takes me...
