In honor of Olympia Weekend, I’m looking back at one of the proudest moments of my life.

In 2020, I competed at the Amateur Olympia against 40 athletes from around the world and placed fourth. But ten days before stepping onstage, I was in a motorcycle accident. I broke two ribs, injured muscles from my right ankle up to my neck, and spent those ten days in bed, unable to walk.

Making it to that stage felt like a victory. Placing fourth felt like first.

Sometimes I feel like I’m fading away.
I feel empty, so far from myself
that I don’t know how to find my way back.

The days go by, and I just try to make it to the end of each one.
From the outside, my life looks normal,
but I feel like I’ve been living on autopilot for a long time.
Like my body knows how to keep going,
but somehow, I got left behind.

I don’t know where I’m going.
I don’t know who I am.

There are nights when I stare at the ceiling,
trying to remember when I lost myself.
Because I’m still here,
still moving forward,
but I feel like I’m not living my own life.

And maybe that’s why I never stop.
Because if I did, I’d have to admit
that I have no idea how to keep going.

And while I’m trying to figure it out,
I miss the person I used to be—
so happy, so full of life,
so excited about everything.

But I don’t know how to get back
to that version of me.

And I don’t want a different life.
I just wanna stop feeling like a stranger in it.
I just wanna feel like I’m really still here.

This is my temple. My safe place. 🏆

When life gets heavy and I feel like I can’t keep going, I come here and remind myself of everything I’m capable of.

These trophies are more than awards — they’re proof of the sacrifices, the discipline, the pain, the early mornings, the late nights, and the battles nobody saw.

Every single one of them reminds me that I’ve wanted to quit before… but I didn’t.

When I forget how strong I am, I come here and remember who I had to become to earn every one of these.

This is more than bodybuilding. This is where I found my strength, my peace, and a version of myself I never knew existed.

My temple. My therapy. My reminder: I CAN. 🏆💪
