QUESTION OF THE DAY

What’s the primary goal of using a splint?

Seems simple but the basics matter.

Pick your answer before you swipe. 👀

Wrong answers only: to make the patient significantly less comfortable while you figure out where you put the damn tape. 😂

Alright, medics… don’t overthink this one, big dawg.

Did you get it right? 👇

Some gear looks good in photos. Some gear earns its place by getting used.

The Tasmanian Tiger Modular Medic Combat Pack 18 has quickly become one of my favorite medical packs. Compact, organized, and easy to work out of without carrying a massive footprint.

Huge thanks to Tasmanian Tiger USA for sending this one out and giving me the opportunity to put it to work.

If you are in NJ, check out @bluetrailconsulting for some training.

It's been a while since my last pistol class, so this was a great way to get back into it. We ran through Accelerator, Scrambler, Failure Drill, and Ball and Dummy Drill, to name a few.

Even if you’re not the best shooter, let it all hang out. Training is the only way to get better. by @offgridwarehouse

You don’t need a massive trauma bag.

You need a few quality pieces of equipment, the training to use them, and the discipline to keep them close.

A tourniquet. Gauze. A pressure dressing. Gloves.

Start there. Build from there.

Because when something goes wrong, having something can be the difference between standing there helpless and actually being able to help.

Huge thank you to Off Grid Warehouse for sending this kit my way and continuing to support Precision With Purpose.

Use code PWP10 for 10% off.

Great private class in the books for members of two local departments!

We had a great group of students who stayed engaged and pushed through a full day of tactical medicine and live-fire training. And, of course, it wouldn’t be a Buckeye TacMed class without the rain showing up during live fire again.

Thank you to both departments for trusting us with your training!

We’re now scheduling private department classes for 2027. Contact us to schedule now! by @offgridwarehouse

September 11 showed us the worst of humanity.
September 12 showed us the best of America.

We were grieving. We were angry. We were scared. But for a moment, the things that divided us became smaller than the things that brought us together.

Flags went up. Strangers helped strangers. First responders kept working. Communities came together.

They hurt us. They did not break us.

25 years later, remembering 9/11 should also mean remembering who we were on 9/12.

🇺🇸 Never forget what happened. Never forget who we became.

25 years ago today, the world changed. We remember the innocent lives that were lost. We remember the First Responders who ran into danger to save others. We remember the courageous individuals from Flight 93.

25 years later, we have not forgotten and we will never forget. by @offgridwarehouse
