Interpreting brand stories with presence and purpose. Opal creates distinctive experiences for knowing brands. Founded in 2011 by @christinewisnieski.
POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED
Off Course, On Purpose.

Our client Gretchen Jones collaborated with filmmaker @justine.quart on a whimsical short film that brings her ethos to life. Opal had the pleasure of creating typographic title cards that feel at home within the world of @weirdspecialty while capturing the film’s playful, unexpected spirit.

Built around the belief that the everyday can be both beautiful and better for us. @wellstockedshop brings together a considered collection for a cleaner kitchen and home.

One year in, we’re celebrating the vision, the details, and the thoughtful world we had the pleasure of helping shape.

Here’s to what’s ahead, friends. taken in The Van Aken District by @officeofopal

Shaped through an exploration of classical elements, the edge of kitchen and home, and the beauty of craftsmanship. Elevated yet warm, serif letterforms mix in italic to create a dynamic flow and conversation between soft and hard. Soft buttery cream and drawn type remind us of the kitchen.

Throughout the process, we focused on creating a brand that feels curated, considered, and calm. One that leaves space for both structure and softness, and reflects the founder's approach to living with intention and care. Cheers to one year of @wellstockedshop!

In the fall 2025 issue of @moeninc Currents, Danielle DeBoe Harper spent time with creative director and founder of Opal (and dear friend!) @christinewisnieski at her century home to discuss Christine's kitchen renovation—designed in collaboration with @woodlanddesigncompany—and all the unique details within. Elsewhere in the issue, an earthy modern kitchen straddles the line between minimal and maximal, statement green stone creates a serene bath, and the Colinet faucet shows off its versatility.

August, in moments.

Sea shimmer, woven textures, old pages, long shadows, paper kissed by potatoes, collected bits, a vessel preparing to hold, herbs growing on the stoop.

A warm, golden month of small things ripening and taking shape. by @officeofopal

A new chapter, tucked away just around the corner.

A little more intimate. A little more cozy. A place where friends are nearby, good things are gathered, and work and life feel intertwined. Close enough to ride your bike.

Soon, we’ll open the door. by @officeofopal

Moments from July — an S and a F, historic interiors, typography for a linear portrait series, tiny tin sculptures and destination gatherings.

Some paths are immediate. Others take a few more turns before they reveal themselves. We try not to rush in either instance, letting the process unfold naturally. by @officeofopal

Moments of reflection in sunshine or moonlight. A sense of nostalgia. Grounded strength. Botanical hand soap made for @raye__living in collaboration with @stemsoaps—a tactile extension of the Raye visual identity completed in 2025.

We worked closely with Stem founder Steve Meka to develop a custom earthy blend of amyris, bergamot, tobacco and cedarwood that creates a calming and invigorating atmosphere. It's an ideal scent for moments of relaxation, contemplation or simply unwinding.

A defining element of the soap box design is a debossed wordmark pressed with transparent ink creates a definitive "front" and minimalist moment. Letterpressed and embossed soap box by @the961collective on Cool Blue from @colorplan_papers.
