I am slowly widening my squat stance each week and depth is now right in the money. I’m pushing a little wider in my working sets to be able to sink it a little more so it will be no question. I have to continue strengthening my hips and adductors because that’s what’s getting hit the most as I get wider but this is a huge step in the right direction and a big mental boost. Big things are coming at my next meet in December #legday #gains #powerlifting #strongman #strength

So I dragged some of my favorite strong ppl to do the Iowa games with me at @ironchapelbarbell it was a great day sorta let my ego call my last deadlift and did 715 right after my 655 but that was already the biggest pull and I didn't want ppl to have to wait on me but it worked outso thank you @officialironape straps, I can't put into words how happy I am with @alanna_6329 signing up last week as a birthday gift for me and her coming and crushing it she's just phenomenal and keeps getting better, then on top of that I dragged @bigpappakronk out of "retirement" and he managed to podium with almost no prep same thing with @mrmcfunnuggets first one back in 3 years and put on a hell of a showing honestly it was a hell of a day if it stays this fun I'll never stop #strongman #iowagames #deadlift #gym #lifting by @officialironape

Purple banded deadlifts and some speed work. I pulled back deadlifts a little this week to start building a base for my next PR. Banded work got me to a pretty comfortable 655lbs so let’s see how another block treats me. NEXT MEET IS IN DECEMBER. I’m hungry for the platform #deadlift #powerlifting #strength #training #gains
